Latest Hamas leader has reached room temperature

The Koran respects Jews as people of the Book. Jews lived in Muslim countries when they fled Christianity. They may have been second class citizens but they generally lived in peace. It was the birth of Israel, a political event, that began the hate.
ROFLMAO----from where did you get that information?----really, I am very curious as to how
you came upon it. ----however----I will help-----MOST of the jews living in lands invaded by
muslims lived in communities that ALREADY existed before islam "HAPPENED". They were not
refugees fleeing Christians lands. How do we know? MOST OF THEM WERE AND ARE LITERATE

I think it's more of a political ideological thing. He's just following the herd.
sadly---many of our fellow americans are HERD BEINGS----witness our history of

It is called history.

Reasons for these Jewish migrations:
  • Persecution and expulsion in Christian Europe: Jews in medieval Europe faced various forms of persecution, including accusations of blood libel, forced conversions, and outright expulsions from countries like England, France, and Spain.
  • Relative tolerance in certain Muslim lands: While treatment of Jews varied across different periods and locations under Islamic rule, there were times and places, like certain periods in the Ottoman Empire, where conditions were comparatively more tolerant than in Christian Europe. Jews under Islamic rule were often granted "dhimmi" status, which offered certain rights and protections, though it also involved specific obligations and restrictions.
  • Opportunity and prosperity: Jews moving to Muslim lands sometimes found more opportunities to engage in various professions and thrive economically and culturally.

True. There were Jewish communities living under Islam since Islam began, There were Jewish communities living under Christians since Christianity began but they suffered restrictions and sometimes expulsion. You can't be a devout Jewish man without being able to read the Torah so literacy was commonplace among Jews.

I think Alan is a he. He is decidedly biased against Israel but I don't believe he is antisemitic.
I don't think I'm 'biased' against Israel, it only seems that way because most Americans are biased against Muslims.

Your hubby is the source of some fine anecdotes but Wiki is the excellent product of many sources.
my hubby is not a primary source He was rescued from the Shariah shit hole in which
he was born as an infant----thus missed the Pogrom of 1947 in the city of his birth in which
the throats of infants were slit in accordance with Shariah law. There are centuries of writings
that attest to HISTORY

You're right. Hamas kills up close and personal. Israel has an air force.

This is the problem with people like you first of all hamas are barbarians 7th century Neanderthals who kill and torture their own people... nobody kills more Arabs than Muslims

I'm not biased against either. So my observation had nothing to do with that.

No but there have to many, many anecdotes to have any value.
You mean like the anecdotal imaginings of a twelve year old boy deciding God doesn't exist because he read the bible like a twelve year old boy?

Sounds political, not religious, as the Jews lived there for 2,000 years.

The user is asking about a "pogrom of 1947". Based on the search results provided, the most prominent and relevant event that fits this description is the 1947 anti-Jewish riots in Aleppo, Syria, also known as the Aleppo Pogrom.
Here's a summary of that event:
  • What it was: A violent mob attack against the Syrian Jewish community in Aleppo, Syria.
  • When it happened: December 1947.
  • Trigger: It followed the United Nations vote in favor of partitioning British Palestine.
  • Context: It was part of a larger wave of anti-Jewish unrest across the Middle East and North Africa around the time of the 1948 Palestine War.
  • Violence: Extensive looting, property damage, and destruction of synagogues, schools, and homes.
  • Casualties: Estimates of deaths vary, but one source indicates around 75 Jews were murdered and several hundred wounded.
  • Impact: Half of Aleppo's Jewish population fled the city in the aftermath. The Jewish community, which had a history of around two thousand years in the city, went into a steep decline.
  • Aleppo Codex: An important medieval manuscript of the Torah, the Aleppo Codex, was lost during the pogrom, though it reappeared later with missing pages.
While the search results also mention the 1946 Kielce Pogrom in Poland, the 1947 Aleppo Riots specifically match the year requested by the user. The term "pogrom" is generally used to describe violent attacks targeting ethnic or religious groups, particularly Jews, and this incident in Aleppo fits that description.
