My view:

• It is delusional to think it was not the creation of Israel that sparked the many wars since 1948 and wars generate hate. The US treated Japanese in the US pretty poorly during WWII.
• The treatment of Jews, prior to 1948, was no worse in the Arab world than it was elsewhere. Christians had their own pogroms and expulsions. There were Jews in India living under Hindus but they moved to Israel as soon as it was formed.
