Latest Hamas leader has reached room temperature

I tried looking and don’t see it, but oh well. It will forever be a mystery!

Got it. She was deflecting. She can’t respond to the fact that Israel not only vacated Gaza decades ago, but also offered them a land deal which they rejected, so she deflects to the West Bank.

I think Alan is a he. He is decidedly biased against Israel but I don't believe he is antisemitic.

I think the inability to recognize - or acknowledge - that the majority of Palestinians want Israel destroyed and in fact supported the horrific massacre of Oct 7 - and instead deflect to the West Bank in an effort to find a different way to blame Jews is driven by an underlying bias against them.

Next!

Israel needs to continue to pummel Hamas, especially the leadership. Here's a tissue for the Hamas lovers on this board. :boo_hoo14:

The thing is with Hamas, Hezbollah, Taliban etc.. for every leader killed, there's hundreds waiting to fill their sandals. But, you just gotta keep pummeling them. All terrorists need shot.

I think it's more of a political ideological thing. He's just following the herd.

That could be true. Being anti-Israel is the “cool thing” among leftists.

BUT….if being against Israel is not connected with antisemitism, why then are Jewish kids on liberal campuses where anti-Israel protests rage on being assaulted, bullied, blocked from attending class, and so forth?

I think it's based on emotions. But I wasn't making a comparison to others. Like most things, they should be evaluated on a case by case basis.

There is no "political" without the koran in the middle east. To be more accurate
I should say "SHARIAH" which is the legal and THOUGHT system which has been
elaborated by muslim "scholars" over the past 1400 years. Just reading the koran
will not more inform you of Shariah any more than reading the NT will clue you into
Canon Law-----but it's a start.
The Koran respects Jews as people of the Book. Jews lived in Muslim countries when they fled Christianity. They may have been second class citizens but they generally lived in peace. It was the birth of Israel, a political event, that began the hate.

There is plenty of hatred on both sides, neither is innocent and both have blood on their hands. There have been protests by Israelis where they chant Death to Arabs.
Where in America have Jews ever chanted “Death to Arabs”?

And the hatred is NOT equal in both sides. Israelis do not brainwash their children to “Kill a Muslim!,” and they have offered land deals to the Gazans who want them dead.

OTOH, the Gazans have turned down land offers because they were required to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist. Their main priority is to destroy Israel.

I know you libs think pretensing that everyone is equal is the thing, but there is no “both sides are equakity hateful” here. The Gazans should have accepted Israel’s offer for their own land, but the Arabs are too driven by hate.

Yeah, riiiiight,,,,,there was no Jew-hate before 1948. SMH,

(Leftists like to pretend that it is Israel’s fault there is Jew-hate. Not-so-subtle way of blaming Jews for antisemitism.)

I don't see Judea or Samaria listed anywhere. Not surprising since they existed for a few hundred years and disappeared thousands of years ago. Not a great historical basis for the modern country of Israel.
The point is that Arabs have driven Jews off of 99.6% of Middle East land, and are now focused on driving them off the remaining 0.4% where they fleed (or were expelled) for safety.

And you think the Arabs should get that little sliver too? Where will the Jews go? Why can’t the Arabs go to the 99% of the land THEY own?
