I hate having to deal with obsolete operating systems and hardware. Every time I try connect any new hardware or software, there are problems.

Yes, but there are solutions. There is Basilisk installed on the old timer, for example. This is some kind of Firefox.

I ran both 10 and 11 for over a year. After I got use to 11, I preferred. I like copilot and I like the autosave on word and excel. Also I find the multiple desktops useful. The only thing I don't like is having to deal with Edge and Bing. I would rather deal with chrome and google.

I don't have Word and Excel, I use Libreoffice, they wanted to pay for Microsoft Office, not a chance.

I don't use Edge, I have Chrome and Opera as my two main browsers, and Bing I use because Google is rubbish, Yahoo is rubbish, so Bing is the least worst search engine for me. But I could easily not use it, I didn't use to when Yahoo was good.

I don't see much difference between 10 and 11. You get used to either one, neither are a problem. I use 11.

so i traded in my samsung tab 8 ultra for an 11 ultra
had it for a few days and finally tonight for shits and giggles i set it up as a desktop
i needed a new hub anyway and i wanted to try updated DEX
wasnt a fan of the older version on my 8 never really used it
its similar to chromium
it is much improved over the last version its so friggin fast
i dont think ill ever own a windows pc again
between dex and linux who needs winblows

took me a few minustes to get it full screen on the monitor
thiers a way to turn up the resoulution but i cant seem get it to yet for some reson
could be the ancient hdmi cable im using

as im typing it the tablet screen has turned into a giant track pad with spell check throwing up suggestion and shortcut keys ...which im obviously ignoring
its niffty then somehow i turned the tablet screen back on and the mouse pointer got stuck on the tablet screen ..i got it back onto monitor ... .
