It's nice to see another venue where the Israeli and Muslim children get together.

LA Lakers captain Gasol gives Jerusalem a basketball lesson

Hours after meeting Peres, Spanish star holds clinic for young Jewish and Muslim players

BY RAPHAEL GELLAR June 2, 2014,

Hundreds of basketball fans gathered at Jerusalem’s Malha arena on Sunday to watch Los Angeles Lakers captain Pau Gasol conduct a basketball clinic with Jewish and Muslim kids from Hapoel Jerusalem’s youth team.

The basketball clinic was put together with the help of Arn Tellem, Hapoel Jerusalem co-owner and Pau Gasol’s well-known agent. Gasol, who met earlier in the day with President Shimon Peres on his first trip to Israel, stated that it was very important for him to conduct the clinic with Jewish and Muslim kids, to promote peace and coexistence.

The four-time all-star worked with the youngsters on their shooting, dribbling and defending skills, running several intense drills. At the end of the clinic, Hapoel Jerusalem’s management gave Gasol an honorary Hapoel Jerusalem jersey with his name on the back. At one stage, Gasol promised his shoes to one of the youngsters in whichever team won the next game they were playing.

Since you have been braying the same nonsense for years on end, Pbel, are you married to a donkey who gives you a big kiss each night after telling you HEE HAW?

Can't you answer a simple question? Your politics are so similar...Your vocabulary is exacting in adjectives...

You know, something, Pbel? If your head wasn't up you know where so that you Proctologist didn't have to find it there, you would have made a simple comment to the effect that it was nice to see Jewish and Muslim kids get together. Maybe your head is still up you know where and you need to make an appointment with your proctologist to pull it out. I think Pbel would rather hear about Muslim kids throwing rocks at Jews than for them to be able to actually have some comraderie with Jewish kids on a basketball court.

Exactly what the Hossfly would say, maybe you and the Hossfly are one with two mirrored voices speaking out of the same end?

I guess Pbel is as crazy as he always was. He apparently has no problem showing the readers that he is. Normal people, upon reading the article, would have had a different comment from the one this crazy man had. Now let's see what the crazy man will say to this. Will it be another asinine comment?

Thanks, High Gravity. Pbel doesn't seem to understand that Black Americans like you appreciate kids of different races, ethnicities and religions playing basketball together. Evidently those who are non compus mentis like Pbel think otherwise.

seems to me that you're both whacked to bring race or ethnicity issues to a ME forum...You're getting desperate.

Well you see, Pbel, there are others who are happy to see people playing together regardless of their race, ethnicity or religion. Evidently you have a problem with Muslim kids playing with Jewish kids or you would have said something that you are happy these kids get along. Nobody is getting desperate other than you, Pbel, for your asinine comment to this article.

Its pretty obvious that Sally and Hossfly are one person with two screen-names...Funny though, Hoss is more likable...

I think the viewers can see the same thing that other viewers have seen for years -- the creepy Phel is desperately in need of therapy from some top-notch psychiatrist in the Boston area. I don't know what is holding Pbel back as there are geriatic psychiatrists which Medicare will pay for. Meanwhile, isn't it great that those on the soccer team in Oakland are of different ethnicities, races and religions and yet they all get along. Perhaps Pbel has a problem with this. You actually see this in the big cities of this country where kids of different backgrounds are having themselves a good time. Now what will the creep have to say about this? Probably go back to his silliness that I am another poster.

Pbel, why are you such a crazy creep? Meanwhile, have you anything at all to say about how great it is that children can play sports together regardless of the group to whom they belong. That is the important thing here -- not your usual creepy nonsense. Why not get back to your lousy paintings and try to improve them instead of posting your asinine remarks? All you are actually doing is proving what so many readers thought about you for years and were so happy to see you disappear for a while.
