The defense wanted the jury to hear Kyle say he feared for his life. I think the videos show that exact story. I believe he has handled himself far better than the skinny dick prosecutor. I was waiting for the prosecutor to launch at him on the stand. I think that too was part of the plan. Just my observance. The prosecutor, also with all of his questions about defending property, demonstrated that the only time Kyle discharged his weapon was when he was in fear of his life. Again, win for the defense.

To your point they didn't need Kyle to say it - the witnesses and video showed it.

The Judge has, rightfully, been grumpy with the Prosecution.
The P may be looking for a mistrial as he is getting his ass kicked.

Dismissed with prejudice is probably the right course now.
