Also, whatever you see as over regulation, the rest of us see as protection for the people. ie, if you work more than 40 hours, you get overtime. That is a regulation. Want that cut out?

They require a permit to be a plumber, carpenter, electrician, or HVAC repair person to insure the person is qualified. Lives are at stake if some of those trades are done by idiots pretending to be something they are not.

I personally know at least a dozen people who have opened small businesses in the last 10 years. 9 of them have succeeded. A couple were innovative ideas that they took and made a business out of.
