King Family Preventing an Honest Biography of MLK Because it wont Hide his Adultery

Your defense that you were attacking progessives is nothing more than a smoke screen.

MLK was a great man with great flaws who did more than almost any American of his generation to improve the country for all Americans.

That you attack him on his day tells us all that we need to know about your racialism and your ignorant far right reactionary brand of politics.

Step off, son.

Progressives, like rdean, are like regressives, such as yourself.

Whatever you folks say, far right or far left, has to be investigated very carefully while wearing hazmat gear.

I didn't attack him at all. The fact that you are reacting this way basically proves my point.

Thanks for playing dipshit.

Yes, you did when you defended those who were attacking him with your smokescreen of "the progressives are evil" nonsense.

You out yourself with every post.

Almost all progressives of the far left and reactionaries of the far right are ignorant tools.

Most are not deliberately evil, no.

When Oliver Stone made "JFK" he didn't glossed over the fact that the President was a womanizer.... why should he not do the same with MLK?

What's fair is fair. What is the problem of telling it as it is? :dunno:

Telling things as they are is not part of the integrationist/multicultural narrative.

[So the new rule is that a person's personal flaws and dark secrets are A-OK as long as their politics are acceptable.

Got it.

George Washington was a slave owner and tried to seduce his neighbor's wife.

Thomas Jefferson was a slave owner and had relations and children with and by his dead wife's slave half-sister.

Abraham Lincoln was not even a Deist but believed a Doom or Destiny that operated beyond the horizons of history.

Strom Thurmond was a racist who seduced black housekeepers and had children whom he hid from the public view.

Yet all of these men made positive contributions to American history.

MLK Jr is given the same pass.

And all the whining of the race haters like Marty and Publius means nothing, since they are dying off and not being replaced.

Good riddance to rubbish.

Consigning to all the above with one addition. Wasn't John F. Kennedy reportedly known as a womanizer as well?

That aside, it certainly has not tarnished his legacy and him being practically deified in the decades that have passed since his assassination.

With who? The people who didn't like him in the first place?

With all people who think that serial adultery is disreputable.

Obviously, people are more nuanced in their thinking than that. Otherwise, he wouldn't be held in as high esteem as he is.

Like with Clinton, Reagan, Ike, FDR, people see past the human frailties and recognize the greater positives.

Did they beat the hell out of them too, like King?

No, they were all White. Although I could see Bill Clinton as the victim of bullying as a child. I could imagine it. Brainy, pudgy kid.

He was a major bible thumping windbag, they should talk about that in his biography.

15th post
Not just adultery, adultery with a preference for very white, blonde prostitutes. Adultery and legendary alcoholism with spectacular orgies. A King biography would have to be mostly fiction.

I don't think you understood what I said.

No it has not. Where were you when all of the media focus was taking place on the 50th anniversary of JFK's assassination?
