trump remove MLK bust from WH, another slap in the face to African Americans

Donald Trump has removed Dr Martin Luther King’s bust from the oval office as the president continues to host a right wing “activist” who labelled the Civil Rights Act of 1964 a “huge mistake”.

The tribute to the iconic “I have a dream” speech maker that sat front and centre during Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s presidencies has been re-shuffled to Trump’s private dining room, according to Black Press USA. It
comes after the controversy over the unseen MLK files.

I guess trump figures he does not need the black vote anymore. He can just come all out with his racist intentions. If I were a black person that voted for trump, I would be feeling pretty silly at this point. For the first time in it's 116 year history, the NAACP is not inviting trump to it's annual convention. He only cares about himself, not caring it this hurts the GOP. He would rather make his far right friends happy.

The media tried this lie in 2017.

"On the evening of January 20, TIME White House correspondent Zeke Miller incorrectly reported that the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. had been removed from the Oval Office. Zeke quickly issued a correction. In the hours that followed, he sent multiple emails and tweets taking responsibility for his mistake, and apologized in person, on email and on Twitter. During further conversations over the weekend, he asked a White House advisor to pass along his apology to the president as well."

June 19th could be a day to reflect on the stupidity of honoring a day on which nothing whatsoever happened.
Could be, but then there is this stupidity...................
