Again - this is about what you believe - and since The Father, The Son and Holy Spirit are ONE - you too can understand it rationally.

You choose to only understand the logic and knowledge stemming from the Father - manifesting itself through the actions of the Son - denying the Power and Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. And if that is the path you choose, then that is what you choose.

By the standards of your own - imperfect but "rational" judgement - The Bread and Wine still become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the knowledge (body) and actions (wine) of his followers - the same way Jesus healed the sick - through his WORD.

Your judgement of the people within the Catholic Church who practice Holy Communion is therefore dismissed - by your very own standards and beliefs.


A very small % of the members within the Catholic Church have been a part of horrendous and heinous acts over the centuries - the members of the Body of the Church are imperfect beings - individually striving to be better. Holy Communion IS NOT one of those acts.

That said - Receiving Holy Communion will not and cannot be judged by your standards - since you already agree that it becomes the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ by the knowledge and actions of his followers.

That's not you professing a supernatural belief. That's you mocking supernatural beliefs.

The problem is that the Gospels make a concerted effort to portray the supernatural feats of Jesus as historical events. How is that possible if there were no supernatural feats?
