For those who see Marx as their hero, there are a few historical tidbits they might find interesting. Nathaniel Weyl, himself a former communist, dug them up for his 1979 book, “Karl Marx: Racist.”

For example, Marx didn’t think much of Mexicans. When the United States annexed California after the Mexican War, Marx sarcastically asked, “Is it a misfortune that magnificent California was seized from the lazy Mexicans who did not know what to do with it?”

Engels shared Marx’s contempt for Mexicans, explaining: “In America we have witnessed the conquest of Mexico and have rejoiced at it. It is to the interest of its own development that Mexico will be placed under the tutelage of the United States.”

Marx had a racial vision that might be interesting to his modern-day black supporters. In a letter to Engels, in reference to his socialist political competitor Ferdinand Lassalle, Marx wrote:

It is now completely clear to me that he, as is proved by his cranial formation and his hair, descends from the Negroes who had joined Moses’ exodus from Egypt, assuming that his mother or grandmother on the paternal side had not interbred with a n—–. Now this union of Judaism and Germanism with a basic Negro substance must produce a peculiar product.

So should all Marx statues be toppled and plundered, and should the ideology of Marxism and communism be banned as racist?

Is it any wonder that the National Socialist party, or Nazi party, were so racist?

I'm not really a fan of Karl Marx, I'm not sure why he's the boogey man either.

Who wasn't a racist back then? Name a founding father to this country that you admire that you would not consider a racist.

Nobody alive in those days had woke modern PC sensibilities on issues of race and gender. That's why in order to create justice, we need to tear down every artifice, burn every book and rewrite all history prior to 2016.

What Marxist ideology did Nazi Germany employ?
Tell me, who does this sound like today?

Adolf Hitler,
We are socialists, we are enemies of today’s capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are determined to destroy this system under all conditions.

Adolf Hitler
This year will go down in history. For the first time, a civilised nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!

Adolf Hitler
Society's needs come before the individual's needs

Adolf Hitler
National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing a new world order.

National Socialist Party of Germany (NAZI)
We ask that government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living. The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within the confines and be for the good of all. Therefore, we demand: ... an end to the power of financial interest. We demand profit sharing in big business. We demand a broad extension of care for the aged. We demand ... the greatest possible consideration of small business in the purchases of the national, state, and municipal governments. In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our system of public education.... We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents.... The government must undertake the improvement of public health -- by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor -- by the greatest possible support for all groups concerned with the physical education of youth. [W]e combat the ... materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of The Common Good Before the Individual Good.

Karl Marx was also a fucking idiot.

What Marxist ideology did Nazi Germany employ?
The politics of nazi germany was virtually identical to the soviet union

the main difference was that communists want to own the means of production whereas fascists accept private ownership but with government control over the wealth

which is what democrats want today

C'mon!

Back in the day a lot of famous and ordinary people had views about ethnicity that are not acceptable today.

And even today, one would probably be shocked (shocked! I tell you) if one could listen in on the private conversations of a lot of Americans, especially because of the current orgy of insanity.

So the next time you hear someone say that we need to redistribute wealth, you know what to do.

Scream in their face that they support an ideology with systematic racism intertwined in it, only, don't use such big words so they might understand. Then demand they recant or lose their jobs and friends.

When I hear a democrat talk today, it alarms me that they seem to talk about race more than Hitler ever did.

Unfortunately, race only seems to matter with two things, the medical field and politics. Other than that, it is meaningless demagoguery. But saying such things threatens politicians, which is why saying all lives matter is now considered racist.

Yes, and the sky is blue.

Thanks for that.

Yes Marxism should be deemed racist and stricken from Academia, along with all those subscribing to it.

But, notice how Marx was not critical of the United States? He, in fact, said that Mexico will be tutored by the U.S. The American Revolution made way for the likes of Marx and Engels. America had achieved Marx's original objective.

Those wanting totalitarian power have bastardized Marx's theory (even though the theory was fatally flawed to begin). Marx and Engels were trying to topple the class system, like "nobility" or "gentleman" status verse commoner status, where nobles didn't have to do any work (sort of like the trust-fund class in America). They were not trying to re-write America's founding. They were using America as an example to the world of how the people can throw off the ruling nobility and govern themselves.

Where Marx went wrong (among many other things):

His failure to acknowledge and address human nature.

Humans are designed to survive (instinctively). Being greedy, lazy, envious, lustful, deceptive, gluttonous, fearful, angry, and prideful are all survival instincts that cannot be repressed, no matter how hard we try. They are primal.

The only hope is harness the power of those instincts to improve the quality of human life. BUT, they must be balanced.

Example 1: when greed (ambition) is not rewarded, laziness kicks in and nobody expends energy, as a survival instinct. No hunter will pursue prey if he is not allowed to keep it, or if the price of getting the kill is not worth the effort, when his kill will be divided among non-producers and he is left with only a nibble.

Example 2: Fear balances greed (ambition). No hunter will pursue game/prey that is too risky or too costly to obtain. Fear of loss/death, wasted effort, or injury (all survival issues) balances the drive to pursue and achieve (which is supported by pride). The drive to bolster his reputation (pride) that he would gain in hunting prowess (which supports his breeding rights, powered by lust) by hunting a dangerous or large animal, is balanced by the risk of wasted effort, injury, or death that could result.

Marx wholly ignored these very real aspects of human nature, or he naively believed that humans or society could adequately repress those instincts. That was his main flaw.

Regardless, those who are going to force the perverted, bullshit version of Marxism at all costs are not genuine in their professed love of humanity. They are narcissistic motherfuckers who want their way at all costs. They are driven by their own instincts of greed, pride, and lust.

Society emerged as humanity's means of co-existing without killing each other or stealing from each other, but to remain in competition for resources and breeding rights. THAT IS THE ENTIRETY OF SOCIAL CONTRACT. When some want to use the perverted version of Marxism to breech that non-violence/no-theft agreement (socialism/communism = armed robbery under threat of deadly violence -- literally) the truce ends and the killing begins.

Marx was a racist and all the Democrat wanna be Marxists are too. It's funny how Ds got the whole thing turned around, confusing the freedom loving, live and let live Republicans with racist Dems.

If only it were true that all Republicans were freedom-loving, live-and-let-live people. I would say that the majority are freedom lovers. It's just the Jesus Nazi element of the party that tends to be just the opposite.

If we could just find a party* that does not want to shove Marxism down our throats AND does not want to tell us what we can smoke, drink, inject, fuck, or contract with.

(*no such party could POSSIBLY exist, right?)
