The blowback begins!

PHOENIX — Coronavirus pandemic or not, an investment advisory company is leaving the cultural unrest in Seattle and moving its headquarters to Phoenix’s Camelback Corridor.
” … The unrest that has taken place in the city of Seattle … there is really is not a downtown business community today,” Smead Capital Management, President and CEO Cole Smead told KTAR News 92.3 FM.
Smead said that although taxes in Seattle are lower, candidate recruitment is harder and the cost of living within the city is more expensive than Phoenix.
“We’re hearing rumors of 40-story buildings that will be only 20-percent occupied by October,” Smead said.
“My biggest concern for Seattle was what the business community is going to come back to, and what kind of businesses are going to come back for customers.”

Thanks for the great news!

Seattle needs to pay a price for kowtowing to the bad people.

The voters elected that mayor.

They made their bed. Now let them lie in it.

(My deepest condolences to the good people who did not vote for that mayor. And who are appalled by what has happened to their once nice city.)

Seattle already had a severe street bum problem that ordinary citizens were complaining about before the riots

but once a barrel of apples goes rotten there is no return

the best people will leave and the residue will be even more liberal

I don't know how any smart businessperson/investor could possibly want to build or expand in Seattle, not knowing when the next time a bunch of crazies takeover some area of the city and do whatever they want while the police get kicked out BY THE EFFING MAYOR. Wonder if she's up for re-election. Knowing the Lefties up there, they'll probably replace her with somebody who is even further Left.

No question, Seattle is a beautiful city but I wouldn't want to live there or have a business there. Or any other lib/dem controlled city or state.

To a PROG, blacks benefit most when you rip it all down. Then they complain they can't find a job and things cost to much.
