Kamala for Governor

I can't argue with you re all that. In my heart I know it's true.

That is why it is so important that we patriots keep a GOP majority in Congress in the midterms and again for the next four years. And we need to elect JD or somebody like him when Trump's term expires.

DeSantis.

He is who Trump is trying to be. Ron DeSantis is one tough SOB. Meaner than Trump, tougher than Trump and smarter than Trump.

But don't get me wrong - I LOVE Trump. I just like RDS a little better. He's an Assassin

Kamala think about running as California governor has put bid dem donors in a flat spin. Citing a Kamala hangover from her loss, are they talking about her loss or her boozing. She should consult Zohran.

Kamala Harris' potential comeback bid for California's gubernatorial race is falling flat as the state's liberal donors say they are still 'traumatized' from her loss to Donald Trump.

The former Democratic nominee for president has been considering a run for California Governor, with several declared candidates promising to drop out of the race if she enters.

Harris would instantly become the frontrunner in the race, but Democratic donors say they are less than enthusiastic about the former vice president's resurgence.

Insiders told Politico that donors are still suffering a hangover from Harris' landslide loss to Donald Trump in November, after she burned through hundreds of millions of dollars only to ultimately lose every swing state.

'Kamala just reminds you we are in this complete s*** storm,' one donor told the outlet.

One California donor who contributed six-figures to Harris' run against Donald Trump said they fear a comeback campaign would only remind Democrats of how 'traumatizing' her loss to Trump was.

Harris reportedly held several meetings in the Bay Area this month to feel out a possible run for governor, and believes she would have an advantage in the field as she remains a big name in a Democratic Party that has not found a new leader following Trump's landslide in November.

Dems need the cope. They need Kamala to be given a consolation prize, her participation trophy. Her humiliating loss to Trump is too much for them to bare.

This is more for their “mental health” than anything else.

Democrats need to stop listening to Republicans. Harris came 1.6 percent away from being the president. She would be a strong candidate and a rea threat t beat the shit outof JD Vance in 2028. That's why Republicans keep trying to push this narrative.
Harris is what 2nd and 3rd world nations elect to many times and helps to keep them that way. We have a percentage of politicians that are of that thinking and it has affected this nation's wealth negatively.

Different guys. Different styles. I like DeSantis too. But he isn't Trump. Trump decimated the competition in the primaries in 2016 and again in 2024. DeSantis was unable to gain any traction at all. Great governors are not always attractive as presidential candidates.

I do hope for a bright future for DeSantis once he can no longer be governor of Florida though.

Hemlock Tea if she runs and loses?

No. I'm saying she needed 1.6 percent fewer whites voting for racism/sexism.
Whaaaaa? You mean your fellow DEMOCRATS (because that's who refused to vote for her) are racists and sexists?

Say it isn't so!

To be honest, no one had a prayer against the Trump tidal wave.

Trump was the guy we needed for sure. I don't think DeSantis has anything close to Trump's vision or instincts on how to deal with 'impossible' problems.

I hate that Trump has to endure the hatred a reprehensible left and right wing TDS afflicted right wing extremists heap upon on him. I will be ever grateful that he was again willing to endure that as well as reduce his own fortune because he loves America and Americans enough to make that sacrifice.

In truth I did want DeSantis to be VP. I figure four years training under the master and he could be even more exceptional than he is. But that just wasn't in the cards.

JD turned out to be a very competent choice for VP. If everything continues as it is, I can easily vote for him in 2028.

I agree. However, I think JD was the best counter to Trump's unfiltered dialogue. I don't know if he is POTUS material though. It would be an interesting primary JD/DeSantis.
