It is obvious to many the left have gone too far too long.

“Supreme Court justices on Wednesday seemed sympathetic to a Missouri church that claimed its exclusion from a state playground improvement program was a violation of constitutional rights. Even some of the court’s liberal justices expressed concern that the state had drawn too hard of a line in barring a day-care and preschool site from the program simply because it is controlled by a church, Trinity Lutheran in Columbia.”

Only Ruth G seemed to be on the side of the State of Missouri.

Turn over the law, SCOTUS.

I think the preschool should be included in the program. Religious schools participate in the federal NSLP. Safety and nutrition are not religious.

I think they should with daycares and such. But when it would involve a "private school" absolutely not.

So you think that the un-elected Supreme Court should decide this matter rather than the will of people of the State of Missouri? You do realize this is among other thing- a states rights issue.

And why exactly do you think that the State of Missouri is 'the left'?
