Video and audio surveillance is abused by people to mock and destroy other people. It also does see crimes.

This time we were talking about the "seeing crime" aspect. If you are the victim of a crime there is no better witness than a high quality security camera acting as a passive neutral witness. Juries eat that stuff up.

There are people who have destroyed other people and have caused some to get revenge with weapons. If you notice, we don't get the full stories on those tragedies.
