If the attack was political, then the attacker would obviously be an anti-Trumper.

There were also witnesses to this, and they said the attacker was calling the 69 year old victim a “pedophile”, which is now a common epithet thrown towards Trump and Trump supporters who claim Trump is “protecting pedophiles”.
