Juniper Jet Fuel

I still thought it was neat.
it reminds me of turpentine,,

did you know theres no US commercial producer of turpentine??
last one closed up about ten yrs ago,,

figure a single 767 uses about 30K gals per flight,, thats a hell of a lot of trees to bleed and refine,,

pretty much any sap can be refined into a fuel of some sort,,

I just thought it was ironic that gin is made from juniper berries and these guys were making jet fuel from junipers. Thought it was humorous.
That is ironic. I don't know a lot about making energy. So maybe this was dumb to post. But it was on our local news and the researchers seemed so excited about it. I thought wow cool.
