My corporation pays considerably more taxes than American ones, I pay considerably more taxes than Americans.
So, one person goes to college has to pay for the entire tuition. the other person gets a full scholarship.

Sorry DBA from personal experience I know that is BS. My mother-in-law was upper-middle class. An RN in NY. Made good money, was well insured, had a nice house and savings. Ended up with none of that because she had to take early retirement because of shitty post-op care. Was in and out of hospitals for a decade before dying.It is much more than a few percent. The ultra-wealthy aside, those in the upper-middle to upper classes can afford much nicer homes and other things than the average European. Personally, I would rather live in a country where my hard work is rewarded vs paying for someone else not to work and at the same time living in the same apartment building or similar home. Most of her family is the same, clean-cut all-American family of certain means. In Europe, they would even be considered rich. When I visit I'm always struck by the financial worries they still face. Simply by virtue that their financial future always seems insecure.
The government that represents the people has come up with thousands of groundbreaking discoveries, taxpayer-funded and a lot of which FACILITATE the groundbreaking discoveries people make. Without government, no internet, no grants to projects that haven't got easy to see cost benifit.
