I thought you would come up with a better lie than this.Saint Manchin is raking in millions
Joe Manchinâs Deep Corporate Ties
An underexamined aspect of Manchin’s pro-business positions in the Senate is his early membership in the American Legislative Exchange Council.www.newyorker.com
excerpts:
It’s not a secret that Manchin, whose personal worth is in the millions, has deep ties to the fossil-fuel industry. Last year, he received half a million dollars in dividends from Enersystems, a coal company he started in the late eighties, which is now run by his son. He is also the U.S. senator who’s received the most money in political donations from the oil, gas, and coal industries. But an underexamined aspect of Manchin’s history is his early membership in the American Legislative Exchange Council, or alec, which brings together lobbyists, state legislators, and representatives of conservative think tanks to draft and disseminate model bills
In June, an undercover reporter for Greenpeace U.K., posing as a headhunter for an unnamed oil-and-gas entity, coaxed Keith McCoy, a senior lobbyist for ExxonMobil, into a number of embarrassing revelations. “Joe Manchin—I talk to his office every week,” McCoy said. McCoy added that their conversations were aimed at ridding legislation of “negative stuff”—emissions reductions, taxes on fossil-fuel companies. “He is the kingmaker on this, because he’s a Democrat from West Virginia,” McCoy said of Manchin. “He’s not shy about sort of staking his claim early and completely changing the debate.” (Exxon has said that McCoy is no longer working for the company and denied that his comments represented the company’s position.)
It would be news if one didn’t have deep corporate ties…He’s your typical corporatist (aka Fascist) like most of the assholes of both criminal parties, in the imperial capital on the Potomac.
Yes, because we live in a failed state. It would be news if one didn’t have deep corporate ties…

Joe Manchin represents .5% of US population
Because O and Billybob are corporatists like you.He represents 2% of the states.
but just killed paid family leave supported by 80% of Americans
If it's supported by 80% of Americans, why didn't Obama pass it? Or Clinton?
So there's more to the story, Joe Mansion sold out to GOP donors. He's never going to live this down. No one on either side of the aisle will trust him again. All for f****** money and power.Saint Manchin is raking in millions

Sounds like he "sold out" to his donors...you know the industries providing jobs to the people of WV.So there's more to the story, Joe Mansion sold out to GOP donors. He's never going to live this down. No one on either side of the aisle will trust him again. All for f****** money and power.
Off subject, irrelevant. I don't know enough about that, it's probably dealing with rights and privileges under the Constitution. They are very powerful, in case you don't realize it our government is not of the people anymore it's of the special interests, essentially run by corporations. Look up any important issue, gun control, the military, the police, the growth of government, corporations paying the lowest taxes ever. We never did control these things completely and now they're controlling us.Tell me, why did Obama renege on his promise to ban lobbyists in the White House?

His personal corruption is obvious. The corruption that is not obvious is the fact that he's obviously been targeted by the GOP as a weak link in the Democratic party and he's being exploited by them. I know it's hard to believe but the Republican party is getting more and more devious every days especially since a criminal like trump join their ranks. You really think anybody really likes trump, no they just like his schemes. This looks like one of them. Get conservative groups to target a week Democrat and make it worth his while to be a trader to his party.Last year, he received half a million dollars in dividends from Enersystems, a coal company he started in the late eighties, which is now run by his son.
Wait one second......he's making money from his own company?
That's outrageous!!!!
10% for the big guy.
He's a Dem of course he's corrupt....with that said, he's corruption only goes so far, and he realizes that Xiden and the Demafasicst are taking us over the edge of a cliff with this pork billHis personal corruption is obvious. That's why I'm an independent. Both parties are corrupt. The Republicans are just more devious about their corruption. Like I said, you really think anybody likes trump. They don't like him, they like his devious schemes. As far as I'm concerned the biggest threat is coming from the Republicans. The Democrats are only a close second. And for your information most people in the United States support both of Biden's infrastructure bill, they realize the benefits it'll bring to themselves and the nation. It really will make all lives better in the United States, especially those who need it most. I guess it depends on your point of view do you want to make the rich richer and the poor poorer or do you want to even things out. This is Governor working for the people. And yes there is a risk but you realize that under trump, the end result of trump's tax credits meant the federal government had a deficit of almost 20% in revenue. The automatic 8% corporations got was multiplied by the fact that tax rate was so low that now with the loopholes still in place, they could end up paying no taxes at all. That's not good for anyone except them. He's a Dem of course he's corrupt....with that said, he's corruption only goes so far, and he realizes that Xiden and the Demafasicst are taking us over the edge of a cliff with this pork bill
