WASHINGTON, March 22 (Reuters) - U.S. President Joe Biden's public approval rating fell to a new low of 40% this week, a clear warning sign for his Democratic Party as it seeks to retain control of Congress in the Nov. 8 election, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The national poll, conducted on March 21 and 22, found that 54% of Americans disapprove of his job performance as the country struggles with high inflation and Russia's invasion of Ukraine has pushed geopolitical concerns to the fore.

Only 20% of independents approve.. shocking

Don't get your hopes up too high. It's early yet and they still have COVID waiting in the wings.

No Democrats will ever go below 33%. I figure the only reason he's at 40 is because 7% of GOP voters and independents that approve of him aren't watching the news.

In the battleground states, there have already been changes by legislatures that will stop them from easily stealing it again. Proof of that is the wailing and gnashing of teeth because they haven't been able to Federalize elections.

We'll see.

Never underestimate the Courts ability to fuck up a good Republic

That and the way the Republican party seems to never fail a fucking things up when they have everything going for them by eating their own.

That made no sense. Being aware that they have tricks up their sleeve is is fucking things up?

Who knew.

Slight disconnect between fingers and brain, I fixed it.

Historically the republican party blows most of their opportunities by eating their own.

Republicans lack the ability that dem's have to put their differences aside for the good of the party and the nation to take advantages of opportunities and repeatedly squander them.

That I can agree with. Never underestimate the ability of a Republican to lose his or her spine.

While democrats blow little boys...
My how adult. Slight improvement over the one you deleted though.

If we can't accept what we're doing wrong and correct it democrats are going to continue to dominate elections as far into the future as we can see.

Personally, I'd prefer long stretches of conservatives governing than the teeter totter or seeing more of democrats dominate 8-12 years at a time.
