Because God can NOT be defeated and Jesus is God.
Jesus is the Word and "In the beginning was the Word
and . . . the Word was God" {John 1:1} . . .
. . . and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and He can not
be defeated by Sin, Satan, and Satan's sad selfish self-seeking sapiens.

You are making it more complicated than it needs to be or how that account intended it to be. Man by virtue of being a physical being who knows and creates has knowledge of good and evil. That was always going to be the case no matter what. The account of the fall of man is about how one responds to doing wrong or making mistakes. That was the point of that account.howabout having evil intent - being the culprit ... forgiveness then would be for misbehavior without evil. accountability is why they ate the fruit ... their own.

2. In religious conflicts, you can see examples on this thread of "the pot calling the kettle black". One side believes they have the right concept of God's laws while blaming an outside person or group for teaching false religion, attacking the right views, and deluding themselves or misleading others. They even accuse each other of deliberately undermining for devious or destructive reasons.
So instead of admitting they are both unfairly accusing the other of ill intent, when both sides are actually concerned the other is causing problems by teaching falsely and acting in bad faith, they both insist it is the OTHER person/group that is in the wrong, not them!
Again surada How ironic to watcg these same people debating "why blame Eve" as a scapegoat (when either Adam was equally responsible or NEITHER should have been punished if they were set up to fail, etc. Etc etc) while they, themselves, fall into the same pattern of pointing the finger and saying "but it is that other person/group" teaching the wrong thing and needs to be called out.
This is part of the human spiritual process of growth, awareness and development.
Humans have this frustrating tendency to point out faults in their neighbors while not admitting or responding to their own areas of corrections!
