It's actually the opposite of that... it's what we need more of in our conversations to raise the bar. Our politics is way to partisan and polarized to produce healthy results right now. While there is a place for the wingnuts that like to push the envelope with extreme biased ideas, it's important that a sane majority keep power and objectivity. Time to grow up and step upObviously, however, I don't feel like dumbing down the subject matter to petty partisan slanders. Being a moderate just for the sake of moderation is just as extreme of a position as the left or right.
So would you be a moderate on slavery? child pornography? domestic violence?
