January 6th Committee Issues Subpoena For Donald Trump

Christopher Steele wouldn't testify.....so the clown walked.

Can't blame Pelosi for that with all the overwhelming evidence already in hand that his campaign was working with a hostile foreign adversary to get him elected.

A danger to our nation.

WAPO:

The FBI does not look faultless. Most notably, the agency’s treatment of 2016 Trump adviser Carter Page was scandalous: The FBI provided false information and withheld material detrimental to its case in multiple court applications to surveil the aide. These lapses, already documented in Mr. Horowitz’s report, are cause for continued reform. A senior FBI official testified this month that the agency offered retired British spy Christopher Steele “up to $1 million” to prove the allegations in a scurrilous dossier he compiled on Mr. Trump, which is also bad.

Robert Mueller testimony before congress, July 24, 2019:

First, our investigation found that the Russian government interfered in our election in sweeping and systematic fashion. Second, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government in its election interference activities. We did not address collusion, which is not a legal term; rather we focused on whether the evidence was sufficient to charge any member of the campaign with taking part in a criminal conspiracy, and there was not.

Hopefully Trump's response is :fu:.
Article I saw earlier where Trump said He may testify........triggering Lizzie.

The House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol subpoenaed former President Donald Trump Friday, and Vice Chairwoman Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., said Trump will not be able to turn his testimony into a “circus.”

She also will not let His testimony be on live TV......that's interesting.

The committee is already a circus.

Has any witness been given their deposition on live TV?

NOPE!

Roger Stone tried the same thing with the committee and was DENIED.....

Why would their rules and procedures for the committee and witness testimony, be any different with Trump?

It won't be.

YOU are just once again, being played by Trump..... He's never had plans to testify under oath...but he knows you will believe he would....

He knows y'all well!

She must be afraid of something Trump might say.

Yea, Trump might guess. It's a perjury trap. Like I said before, take it to court and let a court enforce it. The sham committee knows that NO court would uphold this farce of a subpoena.

“The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in a sweeping and systematic fashion,” Mueller wrote. He found extensive ties between members of the Trump campaign and Russian officials. “The links included Russian offers of assistance to the campaign,” he wrote. “In some instances, the Campaign was receptive to the offer, while in other instances the Campaign officials shied away.”

You just happened to overlook the very next paragraph??

But ultimately, Mueller wrote, his probe did not find that Trump campaign officials participated in an illegal conspiracy to aid Moscow’s efforts to influence the outcome of the 2016 election.
