The Select Committee to Investigate the Jan. 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol issued a subpoena to former President Donald Trump on Friday demanding that he testify before investigators about his involvement in events leading up to the insurrection.

In its multi-page letter notifying Trump of the subpoena, the committee gave Trump until Nov. 4 to start producing the materials requested by investigators and ordered that he appear for deposition on Nov. 14 or close it.

It just shows more and more by the timing of everything, that it was a political stunt to try and stop Trump from running again in 2024. They have no evidence tying him to anything relating to the attack itself, and if they try to put him on a stand or in front of the hearing then he will make fools out of them all. Can't wait, but of course the President has immunities and other such protections granted a president for taking on such a high risk position in life to begin with. This hearing will fail, and rightfully so if we as a nation want any other to take the job of the president of the United States, and to administer his or her duties without fear of political reprisals for doing so.

The Democrat's with their confoolery are trying to fix it where they as a party can control the office of the presidency therefore making the president a mere puppet instead of a leader of the nation without compromise. Their plans have worked so well with Biden, that they are trying to trademark it and seal the deal.
