It simply amazes me how much those who oppose Trump...

Tariffs? They can be eliminated if trading partners eliminate theirs.

Or, you don't want Americans to work? Inner city folks arent capable to go to a factory job? Any job? APPL has to build in Viet Nam to get small hands? WTH.

Reduce our EBT support and $0.20 on a BBQ scrubber from China is a wash.

It is my opinion, shared by many economists BTW, that higher tariffs do not create permanent jobs. At best temporary jobs, but as far as I can see we have not seen the uptick in manufacturing jobs or jobs in general either. Further, I believe that higher tariffs lead to higher inflation, which IS slowly rising and will continue to rise unless and until Trump cancels or reduces them. It is also analogous to a tax hike that primarily falls on the lower end of the income ladder people. I didn't like tariffs when the democrats did it and I don't like them now.

Yawning...tired old talking points. But you are OK with SK tariffs on USA goods? You are OK with the hidden (cheating) tariffs they employ thru unnecessary roadblocks, stalling imports. Now we get a President who knows what is going on but you dont like it? 《Inseert raspberry here》

You mean, you have consistent values? Weird. How does that work?

No. You don't get it, do you?

See, it's like if my neighbor was beating his kids - I wouldn't be OK with that. But I wouldn't beat my own kids in response.

Got it. You're OK with unfair trade practices costing America Trillions to pay Welfare to generatios of unemployed street vermin. Btw, Jobs would help their self worth.

Put your dick back in your pants. We're talking about tariffs, not welfare, or your hysterical fear of brown people.

Government isn't there to provide us with jobs. Unless you're a socialist.

Stupid OXYEN cant connect dots? One way tariffs, unfair trade practices gives them jobs but not us?

Without jobs, onto Welfare EBT Medicaid Sect#8 they go costing trillions in FED spending.

OK we keep tariffs to help pay ti feed your CityStain not working.

Don't know what SK tariffs are. South Korea? There's a difference between targeting specific nations and industries and going broad brush with high tariffs on so many nations. And there are other ways besides tariffs to use against unfair trade.

Tired old talking points does not mean they are irrelevant or wrong. It ain't like we're seeing more manufacturing jobs here; there's a lot of talk about reshoring but I haven't seen shit yet in terms of money spent. In fact, we've seen less jobs, so wtf? We can revisit this in a few months and maybe get a better picture of what's really going on. I think inflation and will continue to rise. If not, great. I'll admit I was wrong.

You really think that in history Trump will primarily be known for his succes in stopping an invasion of illegal immigrants?

CHAPTER 1196
"Also in advance of the election, Roger Stone, another outside advisor toPresident Trump, made this statement: I really do suspect it will still be up in the air. When that happens, the key thing to do is to claim victory. Possession is 9/10s of the law. No, we won. **** you, Sorry. Over. We won. You’re wrong. **** you."
On the morning of January 6th, in his speech at the Ellipse, President Trump exhorted his thousands of assembled supporters to march to the U.S. Capitol, explaining that “[w]e have come to demand that Congress do the right thing and only count the electors who have been lawfully slated, lawfully slated.”

This was no off-the-cuff remark; it was the culmination of a carefully planned scheme many weeks in the making. This plea by the President turned the truth on its head. There was only one legitimate slate of electors from the battleground States of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, and Trump wanted them rejected. This scheme involved lawyers, such as Kenneth Chesebro and Rudy Giuliani, as well as Mark Meadows. It also was aided at key points by Chairwoman of the Republican National Committee Ronna McDaniel, Members of Congress, and Republican leaders across seven States—some of whom did not know exactly what they were being asked to do.

President Trump and his advisors wanted Vice President Pence to disregard real electoral college votes for former Vice President Biden, in favor of these fake competing electoral slates.
Wrong

I care about policy too, more than personality or even character. I voted for Trump 3 times, not because I liked him (I don't) but because I favored his policies over the democrats, which BTW is a very low bar to hit. But there's a lot of stuff he says and does that I do not like or support, and some of his policies too. Like the tariffs, I think it's a dumbshit thing to do then ends up hurting too many people on the bottom half of the income ladder. If you're gonna do that, at least use a targeted tariff instead of a broadbrush big hammer approach. That doesn't make me a TDSer, it makes me a critical thinker that will not blindly support him no matter what. And if someone doesn't like that, tough shit.
trump is a champion Con Man. He conned his voters and he conned the country. He is a liar and a criminal.

The left freaks out over him calling people names, or not being nice.
That's because FOR DECADES the left were 100% NASTY to Republicans calling them all manner of foul names and Republicans just stood there and took it like doormats, out of fear of being vilified in the fake news media.

Trump gave Democrats a taste of their own medicine and those snowflakes can't take it.

That's some severe TDS butthurt right there. You realize the putrid filth Democrats lost every swing state and the popular vote in spite of controlling most of the media and throwing everything and the kitchen sink at the guy.

Maybe Americans just decided to tell Democrats to go F themselves.

/----/ "You still believe CHINA is paying for them."
I never said that. YOU STILL BELIEVE THAT ONE SIZE FITS ALL. The fact is, there are many possibilities. Exporters, importers, AND CONSUMERS may absorb some or all of the tariffs. But the one constant is that IF YOU DON'T BUY CHEAP COMMIE CRAP, YOU WON'T PAY A TARIFF. BUY AMERICAN.
Good luck with that.

Most "American" products have foreign parts.

Tax cuts don't prevent people from getting their car repossessed.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from choose between eating and paying their bills.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from losing their homes.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from being laid off.
Tax cuts don't prevent people with a business from going bankrupt.

Less taxes and government provide more opportunity for the people. It doesnt stop stupid which explains every point you made

Everyone who pays taxes gets a cut. You're trying to convince us that the middle class doesn't benefit from more expendable income?
No one, not even libtards, believes that for a moment.

Higher Standard Deduction Means More Income Is Tax Free

The standard deduction increased across the board.

For 2026:
• Single filers and married filing separately can claim $16,100, up from $15,750.
• Married couples filing jointly can claim $32,200, up from $31,500.
• Heads of household can claim $24,150, up from $23,625.

These increases mean more of your income is shielded from tax, even if your earnings stayed the same.

Bonus Deduction for Seniors

Taxpayers age sixty-five or older receive an additional $6,000 per person through 2028. Married couples where both spouses qualify can claim up to an extra $12,000 on top of the standard deduction.

WOW, that should help me buy all those overpriced items that the corporations are charging for and
the private equity firms that took over businesses and homes, gut them then fire the employees and walk away with bonuses.

They get the entire cake, the people get the crumbs from one slice, and you think, people should be grateful?
