It simply amazes me how much those who oppose Trump...

As I understand it, reaction to Orwell's 1984 at the time was generally positive. The feeling was that the world he painted was possible and a reasonable warning, if bleak.

It's human nature for us to be concerned about negative outcomes and to warn each other. But it sure is different when it plays out right in front of us, isn't it? Who really, seriously expected reality to split like it has?
And with this post I think you neo-leftists have taken every past and present concern of the right regarding the left and flipped every last one. We see though it. You neo-leftists are too focused on mindfuckery and not better solutions. The left truly is the party of 1984.

I care about policy. The left freaks out over him calling people names, or not being nice. Sure, I'd like a bit more candor, but all-in-all it means minimal in importance.

Trump will be known primarily in his second term for his astronomical success of stopping the invasion of illegal immigrants at the southern border. All the problems this issue was causing are at least being tamed, and hopefully we can push back on the advances of letting in un-vetted, dangerous third world morality to flood into our country.

Every time Trump succeeds the left will attack his character to change the subject.

What year will that be?
Succeeds for who?
Trumps success helps the American middle class and makes democrats look like the failures they are
Biden killed their wages with inflation
Trump increased their wages with tax cuts
Who do you think they re going to vote for after their take home pay goes up and inflation comes down

Permanent Provisions (Post-2025):
  • Income Tax Rates & Brackets: The current seven tax brackets (10%, 12%, 22%, 24%, 32%, 35%, and 37%) are made permanent, preventing a revert to pre-2017 higher rates.
  • Standard Deduction: The nearly doubled standard deduction is made permanent and adjusted for inflation annually.
  • Child Tax Credit: The credit is permanently increased to $2,200 per child (indexed to inflation), with a refundable portion of $1,700 for 2025.
  • Estate Tax Exemption: The lifetime gift and estate tax exclusion amount is permanently increased to $15 million for single filers and $30 million for married couples, indexed for inflation.
  • Miscellaneous Deductions: The disallowance of most miscellaneous itemized deductions (e.g., investment fees, tax prep fees, unreimbursed employee expenses) is made permanent.
Temporary Provisions (2025-2028):
  • No Tax on Tips/Overtime: A federal income tax deduction is available for up to $25,000 of qualified tip income and up to $12,500 (or $25,000 for joint filers) of qualified overtime pay. These phase out at higher income levels.
  • Senior Deduction: An additional deduction of $6,000 for each individual age 65 or older (up to $12,000 for a married couple) is available, phasing out for higher-income seniors.
  • Auto Loan Interest Deduction: Up to $10,000 of interest on loans for new, personal-use vehicles with final assembly in the U.S. can be deducted.
  • SALT Cap Increase: The cap on the State and Local Tax (SALT) deduction is temporarily raised from $10,000 to $40,000, with phase-outs for high-income earners.

Key Business Tax Provisions
The BBB also includes significant changes for businesses.
  • 100% Bonus Depreciation: This provision, which allows businesses to immediately deduct the full cost of eligible equipment and machinery, is made permanent.
  • R&D Expensing: Businesses can immediately deduct domestic research and development (R&D) expenditures instead of amortizing them over several years.
  • Section 199A Deduction: The 20% pass-through business income deduction is made permanent.
  • Opportunity Zones: The program offering tax benefits for investments in designated low-income areas is made permanent, with some modifications.

I couldn't agree more.
As Buck Sexton said, "My only complaint is that Trump solved the illegal invasion too quickly and easily. He should have milked it a bit longer."

Trump likes opposition. It makes his loins tingle.

Your constantly unhinged rants not based on facts are tiresome.
Dont encourage him. As Trump succeeds he has to face the failure of his beliefs. He just escalates more and more. Thats simply a lack of maturity.
He defends Bidens failures and attacks Trumps success. That defines who and what he is

It seems political hypocrisy to me on both sides.

It is the right, not the left, that usually holds such concern over individual character.

For 45 years you ******* dumb asses, think tax cuts are the do all, be all cure for EVERYTHING.

Tax cuts don't prevent people from getting evicted out of their apartment.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from getting their car repossessed.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from choose between eating and paying their bills.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from losing their homes.
Tax cuts don't prevent people from being laid off.
Tax cuts don't prevent people with a business from going bankrupt.

Tax cuts boost the economy

Unfortunately congress and presidents have no incentive to cut spending

Instead they constantly raise it

We need spending discipline
