It simply amazes me how much those who oppose Trump...

NO, it didn't.
The lying traitor almost drove the US into bankruptcy.

Inflation dropped under Reagan.
I was there.
You're a ******* liar. Or a psycho.
Not long?
Three almost 4 years later?
The LAST year of the Bush presidency?

Bush got elected in 1988.
The Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
That's ONE year.
You are one stupid piece of shit. Don't ever waste my time again, asshole.
Not your gas lighting "History"?
Just like your dear leader does NOW.
******* asshole. 🖕

You're on the Ignore list now, shit-for-brains. I won't waste my time with ignorance.

Which is expected every single year.

Should we also praise Trump for making a poopy in the potty?
From AI:
"In 2022, American markets experienced significant declines, with the S&P 500 dropping about 19.4% for the year, marking one of the worst performances since the financial crisis. Factors contributing to this downturn included rising inflation, interest rate hikes by the Federal Reserve, and geopolitical tensions."

Who was President then?

This moron:

Inflation dropped under Reagan.
So, who said anything about inflation?
Recessions, lower inflation, dumb ass.

The other Republican dementia patient still ruined the country, like Trump.

I was there.
You're a ******* liar. Or a psycho.
I was there too you moron.
Bush got elected in 1988.
Yeah, elected.
The Berlin Wall fell in 1989.
So.
The fall of the wall, isn't the fall of a country.
That's ONE year.
You are one stupid piece of shit. Don't ever waste my time again, asshole.

You've been doing it since you were born, idiot.
Good riddance.

As I understand it, reaction to Orwell's 1984 at the time was generally positive. The feeling was that the world he painted was possible and a reasonable warning, if bleak.

It's human nature for us to be concerned about negative outcomes and to warn each other. But it sure is different when it plays out right in front of us, isn't it? Who really, seriously expected reality to split like it has?
Nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to the left insisting that a man can become a woman. Talk about denying your own eyes. Thats 1984.

No one can challenge Trump's policy of lies, corruption and stupidity.
The question I continue to have is whether the flock understands that his behaviors are not those of a normal, intelligent, decent, mature, moral, stable, emotionally/psychologically healthy adult.

If the flock understands that they are not, then they have sold their souls. But if they don't understand it, then my faith in the decency and intelligence of many fellow Americans really has taken a beating. Neither is good, obviously. I'm not sure which is worse.

I/we may never know.

.. focus so much on how "nice" or warm and fuzzy he is (or isn't).

I care about policy. The left freaks out over him calling people names, or not being nice. Sure, I'd like a bit more candor, but all-in-all it means minimal in importance.

Trump will be known primarily in his second term for his astronomical success of stopping the invasion of illegal immigrants at the southern border. All the problems this issue was causing are at least being tamed, and hopefully we can push back on the advances of letting in un-vetted, dangerous third world morality to flood into our country.
I don't like Trump but he deserved credit where credit is due. Kudos for at least keeping that promise. Let Mexico and South America keep their problem children. America has enough problems of her own.

They understand, his cult is worse than he is and are twice as gullible.
