Just one example.
Between the start of Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem in 1967 and the end of 2016, Israel revoked the status of at least 14,595 Palestinians from East Jerusalem, according to the Interior Ministry.
Israel: Jerusalem Palestinians Stripped of Status
1) Using the word "occupying" is a loser start in any attacks on Israel.
Israel DOES NOT occupy Jerusalem, any part of it.
All Jews were expelled in 1948 by the Jordanian Army when all the Arab countries attacked Israel.
2) From what I know, Israel follows Ottoman and British laws in a lot of the things it does.
You do not like it, I will ask Israel to once and for all create its own laws.
One of them will be to give back all the property stolen by the Arabs of Jordan and all others when they invaded Judea and Samaria and the JEWISH QUARTER of Jerusalem ( stupidly called "east Jerusalem" after 1948) BACK TO THE JEWS they stole them from.
There are many reasons as to why Israel has had to revoke residency and even citizenship status of so many Arabs.
Let us see:
1) worked against the State
2) belonged to a terrorist group
3) was in Israel illegally
I am sure that there are many other reasons for so many to be told to leave.
But neither you, nor that article you chose, care to find out why that actually happened.
"East Jerusalem" and "Occupied" go together when one speaks of the Jordanian disgrace between 1948 and 1967 when the Hashemites attempted to steal Judea, Samaria and the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem for TransJordan.
Jerusalem and Capital of Israel, go together when one speaks of the Ancient Nation of Israel, and the modern State of Israel .
Digest it, slowly. It will be easier to enjoy for the rest of your life.
