The article really brings out some of the challenges that both repubs and Dems have going forward. The repub party is at a critical juncture. Do they continue allowing trump to lead their party or move on to younger and less stained candidates?

This is not so much of a partisan read as it is a realistic view of political realities. It is worth a look.

Well we know he has your vote. All you do is dream about him.

As of now, it looks like a blue wave in 2024.

Running against Trump works very well for Democrats. 2022 proved that.

If Trump wins the primary, Democrats get to run against him again, and win much bigger, being how so many Republicans are sick of Trump.

If DeSantis wins, Trump's hardcore cultists stay home, and Democrats romp.

This is an example of a Trump cultist down on his knees begging Democrats to stop attacking Trump, because even Trump cultists understand how Democrats win elections that way.

Go on. Scream "WAAA! TDS! TDS!" all you want. We're _still_ going to keep attacking Trump, and we're still going to savor your loser-tears.

They created the monster. Now they need to deal with him.

If he is not given the 2024 nomination...he will smash the repub party. The repub party leaders have a unique problem...one of their own making.

"Great read from the Atlantic".

Now there's an oxymoron if ever there was one.

As long as the repubs hold onto trump, they will lose. It is okay with me if they even rename the party trump.

Trump won't be the GOP nominee.

The RNC just sent out polls to see which candidates we support or oppose, including "businessman Trump" or "ex-president Trump".

On my ballot both Trump and Never-Trumpers got terrible ratings.

So I hope the RNC gets the hint that Trump needs to lose the primary.

No, he isn’t unless it is him back Harris.

He will be if only the idiot RINOs go up against him. DeSantis may not run.
The RINOs are basically as detestable as you Dimmers.

Great read from the Atlantic?! You probably think Hilary is honest and Biden isn't senile.
