The FEC didn't push it because they'd have had to go to Bill Barr to get charges filed.

What kept them from indicting him is that we don't indict sitting presidents... this is the problem we've had since Watergate, we don't have a way to prosecute criminality by a sitting president.

We can hold an ex-president accountable, though. Trump should have pardoned himself before he left.

Yeah it's amazing how insulated he was from all these entities. We can believe that 4-5 State and Federal entities who investigated this and did nothing were all compromised or that this current DA who ran on prosecuting Trump is stretching the law to do so...

2) He paid her to keep silent to prevent it from wrecking his campaign.
3) He then failed to disclose the payment on his campaign finance form.

None of these facts are really in dispute.

He is in violation of NY Law in addition to whatever Federal Laws his own Justice Department declined to prosecute.

Cy Vance team were ready to bring heavier money laundering charges, when Bragg replaced him, he stopped the prosecution from going forward... put a hold....much to Democrat s dismay....

He indicated he needed to evaluate before going forward with anything! That's obviously what his office had been doing....

He flaunted his affair with Marla, had her show up where he was vacationing with Ivana and the kids at a ski resort and made sure the tabloids reported on it, he had Marla do an interview where she said it was the best sex she had ever had.... All while married with children, to Ivana...

When F-ing McDougal.... for months he brought her to open events where everyone could see him and her as a couple...
