I'm pretty sure I know. The problem with right wingers is they don't care about people from other countries. Just like in this country where they hate the gays and blacks and other minorities, Iraq offered them to opportunity to show the world how to create a nation. They assumed that because Iraq was run by a despot and they had plenty of oil, we could walk in, liberate the people, put the kind of government in place we felt comfortable with in the process, "WOW" the rest of the world and Iraq would be able to rebuild what ever we destroyed.

I never would have gone in to Iraq. I would have kept using them as a hedge to iran. Besides that, we didn't take the oil leases or contracts. China has been gobbling them up. They need them. We don't. We now have more proven reserves of oil/natural gas than all of the saudi and iraq oil fields. In 6 years, that number will have grown to four times their combined amount.
