Trump made big mistake in giving Multi Billion Dollar subsidy to BIG PHARMA by subsidizing GLP-1 drugs.

Glucagon-like peptide-1 is a hormone. These drugs manipulate that hormone and it makes people lose cravings. It is effective for FOOD, ALCOHOL, DRUGS, etc.

One of the common side effects is no longer do you care about the vice you are trying to quit…but you no longer care about ANYTHING…many patients have explained they no longer love their spouses…..OR ANYTHING…INCLUDING FOOD.

This is a terrible idea and just a paycheck to Pharma.

PEOPLE SHOULD EAT LESS AND EXERCISE…NOT TAKE A DRUG THAT MANIPULATES THEIR HORMONES INTO NOT LIKING FOOD!

How many DIMES now have skeleton faces and BUG EYES?! 😕

There are over 4400 lawsuits against these manufacturers.

Ozempic, Wegovy….there are a bunch of them.

THEY CHANGE YOUR HORMONES AND EFF UP YOUR BODY CHEMISTRY,

These are AWFUL DRUGS. The weight loss aspect was discovered in trying to find a smoking cessation drug,

For sure you no longer like smoking, eating, drinking, or ANYTHING.

WTF HAPPENED TO JESSICA SIMPSON?! 😕😕😓😓

I don't mess with it (weight loss drugs) but some people just can't push themselves back from the table and need the help.

I dropped about 125# over near four years and have kept it off. Lots of water, no sweets in excess, no sodas at all, smaller portions, and eating slower did the trick for me.

The first 100# was "easy" (first year and a half) and at this point I might only lose a couple pounds over a 3-month span but that is every three months with no gains in between. It mounts up. Some people would kill to lose 9-12# in a year with little to no effort.

Believe me, you get saggy skin and all doing it naturally too but you start to tighten up as the rapid loss slows down.

LOL....I swear, at one time early-on it looked like I could sit teacups on my cheekbones but things have rounded out nicely now.

Good for you man.

If one WANTS to use these drugs, ok, I guess...

...MY TAX MONEY SHJOULD NOT GO TO PHARMA IN THE FORM OF SUBSIDIES FOR THESE DRUGS.

Cancer drugs? Sure.

But drugs that manipulate your hormones so you no longer want to eat...that should be between you and your PRIVATE insurance. Not the taxpayer.

These drugs can also paralyze your intestines and KILL you.

Eat less. Walk. It is the very few who simply have no means whatsoever to lose fat.

Makes me wonder if John Candy would still be around had those drugs been available to him.

And I don't know man, those cancer drug side effects seem right rough too.

Most of these intense drugs have significant side effects.

My parents are both on statins for Heart disease and have had surgery recently.

The statins have significantly reduced their cognition. It is obvious.

Pharma makes TRILLIONS...they do not need FEDERAL TAX SUBSIDIES.
