Zone1 Is the future of the civil rights movement in question?

Wrong. Racism is part of all that. But you're white and racist, so racism doesn't exist for you.
nope.

the stupidity of sending all the jobs alway with globalism is making most Americans poorer, regardless of race.

race is a distraction, so we don't focus on the more crucial economic issues. like sending all the jobs away like dumbasses.

Oerhaps it was in the fantasy of the white racist, but racism has never stopped being a problem for non whites. This nation has never been united.
and you seek to further the divide so the nation is weak.

You're a joke. The nation is divided and has been divided from the start. Whites created the division and try to maintain it now.

Race is only a distraction according to those who practice racism. For us who face racism, it is a serious thing.

no it's YOUR distraction from all the important economic issues.

you're a propagandist for the 1%.

It is when you're divisive and add adjectives to it. There is no such thing as gay rights, women's rights, or black rights. Groups are not entitled to different rights than humanity receives.
Gays and women are groups of humans who've previously been denied equal rights. What's confusing about this to you? It wasn't the human right to marry that was being denied, it was the gay right to marry.

IM2, Legally marrying is a privilege, not a right. Inserting an adjective like gay or women in front of a noun like rights indicates those are exclusive rights for select groups.

Now you're just playing semantics. All rights come from government so you can call all rights privileges. Inalienable rights are fairytales that dont actually exist.

Only to people purposefully trying to misunderstand. Everyone else understands that the gay in gay rights is a description of rights being denied specifically to gay people.

That's sig material, IM2! :laughing0301:

The Future of the civil Rights movement
is very cloudy indeed. As this country
slowly but surely bleeds out its caucasian populous in favor of the new and more dominant Latino gene pool....who will see to it that everyone is taught to hate and to fear?

When Cinco de Mayo overshadows
Martin Luther King Day as a heritage holiday will the guardians of all that is politically correct and politically proper be there to protect the past?

When little Juan comes home from school to ask his Pepito why the teacher wants him to accept that he is a racist because he's not as dark as his friend Jaquan what will Pepito say? He's only been in the country for 5 years and never went to school in Mehikko! He has no idea who Martin Luther King is or what the hell the civil rights movement was. His only childhood hero is Pancho Villa.

Think I'm joking here?

 jo
Little Juan will learn all he needs to know about the Civil Rights Movement. I'm sure his parents will also tell him about all the land that was STOLEN from Mexico by the gringos. You know: Texas, California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Colorado and parts of Utah. That land was stolen with the Treaty of Hildalgo. I never learned this in school, but a Mexican friend of mine told me about it.
Those Mexicans are pretty smart. :2cents:

I think my point here is that our nation is evolving. It's happening very quickly.
Selling slave guilt to a new generation that doesn't share our heritage will be more than challenging and in a practical sense almost self-defeating.
Do you have White Replacement fears?

I don't think you're joking, just sincerely ignorant. The Latino immigrants coming here have also faced exploitation at the hands of American foreign policy and the vestiges of colonialism. They come here because this is where the wealth of our nation's has ended up and who owns that wealth doesn't simply change because demographics change. That demographic change must be followed through with political change that can force economic change that could lead to economic justice for all our immigrant and Black American communities. There is good reason to see common cause.
Thank you. Well said.

Do you have White Replacement fears?
No.... The world is all about change.

Change is inevitable.

First of all I don't have white replacement fears for a lot of reasons since I'm probably one of the replacements.

Secondly I see the American culture as strong enough to eliminate subdivisions among the subcultures for those who actually embrace the idea of the nation. There are always going to be anarchists.
