Zone1 Is the future of the civil rights movement in question?

I don't think you're joking, just sincerely ignorant. The Latino immigrants coming here have also faced exploitation at the hands of American foreign policy and the vestiges of colonialism. They come here because this is where the wealth of our nation's has ended up and who owns that wealth doesn't simply change because demographics change. That demographic change must be followed through with political change that can force economic change that could lead to economic justice for all our immigrant and Black American communities. There is good reason to see common cause.
That doesn't translate into selling them guilt from the past that no longer applies. You're asking them to mourn at the funeral of somebody they never knew.

Bullshit..... In North America civil rights is a synonym for Black rights.
In your fevered mind...perhaps.
The rest of us know otherwise.
Many groups, racial and gender-based, have benefited from civil rights enforcement.

Read the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and show me where it says 'Blacks only'.

There are a lot of things written down in record that are nothing more than empty words on paper. The civil rights movement is one of them. Civil rights should mean equal treatment for all people regardless of race sex or religion but that's not what it means in North American society today. Each group is only interested in its own benefit and couldn't give two dog shits about the benefit of any other group affected by enactment of or retraction of civil rights. Show me a mixed movement. They don't exist.
In short it has become a social masquerade hiding the true purpose of other nefarious intentions.

If Blacks keep letting Biden preferentially kill Black babies , Blacks are going nowhere.
The rate now is approaching 6X !!!! Whites increasing and Blacks decreasing...abortion and single-parent families.

Why would the civil rights movement be in danger? Is it because there are whites who don't want to respect the rights of non whites?
You racists work for the very things you later work against.

10.8% of married Black American men had a non-Black spouse.

THAT IS HUGE
drop that hateful speech.

because it has overshot the mark and is now perpetuating racism of all kinds.

There is ZERO statistical evidence that supports what you just said.

It's not about the past that no longer applies. It's about the continuing racist behavior happening right now.

there is plenty of evidence of all kinds.

preferring one race over another, as does affirmative action crap, is racism.

do you deny there are programs seeking to boost blacks in OUTCOMES for Frick's sake.

equity they call it.

it's not equality, it's equity, meaning gay bipoc non christers get handed a slice.

Here's proof.

U of Texas is ending its office of racism.

AUSTIN, Texas — At least 57 University of Texas employees have been laid off recently, most due to the school's shuttering of the Division of Campus and Community Engagement, according to a tally by university officials.

The layoffs have come as UT eliminates some programs and reorganizes its services after a state law banning diversity, equity, and inclusion offices at public universities went into effect. In addressing the employee layoffs for the first time since announcing earlier this month that the Campus and Community Engagement Division was closing, UT President Jay Hartzell took prewritten questions at a faculty council meeting on Monday and said 49 employees who had previously worked in DEI-related positions had been terminated and that eight associate or assistant deans whose work previously included related duties were returning to their faculty positions full time.

There is zero evidence that supports your claim. What we have seen is a white backlash.

That's not proof, thats caused by the state passing a law bascally making things like that illegal. Again this is the result of a white backlash. Whites are not facing discrimination. But ever since whites have had to compete there has been whning from whites, specifically on the right.

states are ending racist policies.

this is a good thing. the march continues.

DEI shit is being ended, that's evidence of waning.

DEI is bad.

States are enacting racist policies. There is nothing wrong with DEI. The problem is that whites like you have an entitlement mentality.
