Zone1 Is the future of the civil rights movement in question?

No.... The world is all about change.

Change is inevitable.

First of all I don't have white replacement fears for a lot of reasons since I'm probably one of the replacements.

Secondly I see the American culture as strong enough to eliminate subdivisions among the subcultures for those who actually embrace the idea of the nation. There are always going to be anarchists.
The world IS about to change. I agree with you there.

September 16th is celebrated as Mexican Independence Day. My Mexican friend told me that.
Personally, I don't give a crap what mexicans celebrate. As long as they are shooting one another in celebration, it doesn't concern me.

You might be too late. Just ask the black community, the highspanic community, the homo community, the pro-choice community, the pothead community, etc.

That's one of the reasons I will never adhere to the Democrat mantra. The Doom of their future is automatically built into their philosophy. You cannot embrace so many special interests and pretend to create ultimate unity unless you always hold up a common enemy to unite them. The moment you lose the common enemy your entire tent collapses leaving you with chaos and cannibalism. Every once in awhile a GOP candidate shows up that appeals to a broad segment of the left. Reagan was one of those.

Cinco de Mayo isn't celebrated in Mexico. It is an American drinking day like St. Patrick's Day.
Cinco de Mayo is not a good memory for those who know what it represents. The local Mexican government refused to pay the regular tribute to their Spanish governors and for one day had a minor military victory over the local occupying Spanish forces.

Two days later a large force of organized Spaniards came back and absolutely slaughtered the lot. This resulted in the Spaniards being paid what it was they were asking for in the first place and several thousand dead Mexicans.

It's hilarious to me that at the core your beliefs are centered around hate. The reason why other communities can embrace each other is because we don't hate one another.

No it's hilarious to me that your core beliefs are centered around hate. The only thing that keeps the Democratic communities from destroying each other is the constant upkeep of a common boogeyman. It was Reagan, then it was Bush, now it's Trump. The minute you get a populist candidate who runs on the GOP ticket the Democratic side will collapse into complete nontolerance and self-destruction. It's as inevitable as gravity. A large part of Obama's success was his appeal to the middle conservatives.

That's just your simple imagination. The only reason anyone even thinks of you people is because you're often standing in the way of the things we do want. Other than that no one cares about you.

I don't expect anyone to care about me That's not what this conversation is about. This conversation is about the inevitable destruction of a philosophy that unites only under the banner of common hatred. Once the reason for that hatred is gone the philosophy will disappear with it.

Again, that's your imagination. As a progressive my views are centered around providing universal Healthcare, addressing housing costs, access to quality education, climate change, socioeconomic justice, I couldn't care less about you beyond your capacity to obstruct these goals.

Again you're running away from the subject This isn't about me This is about the very fractured base of the Democratic party which shows it's ugly head every now and then when Muslims execute a gay or when black congressional members of the Democratic party refuse entry to white congressional members.
The signs are all there ignore them at your own peril.

Fractured? The Democratic party continues to grow in diversity every year.

I'm not worried over your fantasies.

Why would the civil rights movement be in danger? Is it because there are whites who don't want to respect the rights of non whites?
It's just run it's course, people are starting to realize that any "movement" has turned into an eternal state sponsored bias that can never be satisfied.

You should be because growth is not your strong point .... You continue to multiply the numbers without the means to take care of them. That's not humanitarianism or love of fellow man or progressivism or anything else but stupidity and cruelty.

You pretend to care about the people but really only care about the numeric headcount. You embrace collectivism to the point of individual failure and somehow pretend this elevates the person. Your pretend righteousness will be your own undoing.... I don't think the word diversity means what you think it does.

Explain that with something other than demogoguery. It what way do people lack the means to take care of themselves?

I'm not even pretending to know what you're talking about.

In your fantasies...

Why is it a bigoted term? Go ahead and try explaining that one.
You think privilege and right is the same thing, so you will never get it.

And no need to deny your homosexuality. What happened to your pride month? It's funny how you homosexuals are all for pride until you turn self-loathing and deny it.

I'll also never know what difference you imagine exists between them if you remain too afraid or too incapable of explaining your thinking.
And no need to deny your homosexuality. What happened to your pride month? It's funny how you homosexuals are all for pride until you turn self-loathing and deny it.
What's really funny is how much time you people spend fantasizing about homosexuality.
