Of course it is! Why would they do it otherwise? And, doing it in the first place was in response to orders Abbot received from Trump, the most racist president ever to occupy the White House.

If the districts are currently comprised in a manner that race is a factor, how would gerrymandering them be any different than how they comprised now? It's not like one screwed up way of creating the districts based on race is more acceptable than another.

That's a sorry comparison. California did not racially gerrymander their districts in mid mid-decade to get a Democratic advantage to help a Democratic president have his party in the majrity in rder to control the gvernment.

I just shared how California Democrats has already Gerrymandered the state way beyond what Texas would have done and now is going to make it even worse with Prop 50 and you want to talk about race. So stupid.

Texas... 38% Republican - 66% Republican Reps in Congress

California just voted to make it even worse than a 37% disparity. Note: Massachusetts, Illinois, and New York Democrats are even worse. Republicans are just hoping to catch up with the Left's Gerrymandering, which is the absolute worst in the nation.
