Is our justice system now gone because of Trump?

Shows the sad state of what our country has degraded to
Not only is a President above the law but he can punish anyone who dares to investigate him

MAGA America

There's a slight difference in Retribution and a Reckoning ...
It most often falls on what side of the line one finds themself when the beatings start.

In any case the cards were played ... And according to the votes, the President's opposition lost.
It's not like his opposition didn't know what they were doing ... Nor would I assume they are interested in accepting their defeat.

The fact remains that no matter the basis of their opposition ... Combined with their constant political pandering and efforts ...
They most certainly failed to avoid the appearance of impropriety.

At that point it can change to ... "Come get you some, and we'll let the People decide."
And the People did ... Either through their support for the President or their lack of support for his opposition.
However ... I am pretty sure a lot of folks won't be willing to view the matter in a way that causes them to address their possible failures.

I'm finding that questions I've always had about world history are being answered in real time.

Such as, "how could they have let this happen?"

„Die Geschichte ist seit drei Jahrhunderten eine fortwährende Verschwörung gegen die Wahrheit.“
Joseph de Maistre (1735-1821)
“For three centuries, history has been a perpetual conspiracy against the truth.”

Now we are living two to three hundred years later. And everyone speaks only the truth any longer. Specially Donald Trump, the machine gun liar.

Nixon and Biden weaponized the FBI.
Obama tried to make DHS a national police force.
He was behind arming of many bureaus. Buying bullets for government workers with taxpayer money.
That's why some bullets were in short supply when he was president.
The factories kept pumping them out, but the government was buying them all.

He couldn't get it through overtly, so he kinda half-ass did it covertly by corrupting the bureaus.
Executive privilege and all that.

Reckoning it is

A reckoning is a deliberate pursuit of accountability and justice, aiming to restore balance and prevent future harm

in which President Trump is proceeding pursuant to

The Take Care Clause is a clause in the US Constitution that requires the President to ensure that laws are faithfully executed. It is found in Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution.

Yet nearly everyone posting here including you, support the genocide in Gaza.

Apparently you’ve learned nothing from history, but think you have.

No they do not. What makes Netanyahu any different from Hitler? The only difference I see is he used bombs not ovens.

It's flat out retribution against people prosecuting people who attacked and seriously harmed police officers.

Trump has trampled the Constitution by his actions this week.

Our justice system is being attacked and dismantled by Trump

What to Know

Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove ordered the firing of several prosecutors involved in the investigation into Trump's alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 election results. Around two dozen employees at the U.S. attorney's office in Washington, D.C., were fired on Bove's order.

Bove, who was Trump's attorney in the Republican's criminal cases, also sought to have several senior FBI executives retire or be fired by Monday. Bove requested the names of all FBI agents assigned to investigate or prosecute January 6 cases—a list that could include thousands—in what is believed to be a step toward terminating them as well.

Trump is working toward getting rid of ANYONE that disagrees with him. In essence, free speech begone..............to be replaced with this

Do this or begone

Yes, it is gone. No one will ever be arrested, charged, and prosecuted for any crimes ever again,

No more justice.

TRUMP IS A BIG SUPPORTER OF DEFUND THE POLICE.

HE IS NOT DEPORTING CHILD RAPISTS.

NO Justice League, even.

In fact, no where on earth will there ever be justice again,

Oh my God
our shared values and demockwacy oh no

The left wing morons are upset because their authoritarian strong arm enforcers, retarded judges, and other assorted federal government left wing parasites are getting exactly what they deserve.

Do you have sads

Aww poor babies

Maybe you should have thought about it before your weaponized the federal government and filled it with incompetent sell out retards
You f****** morons

Better for everybody and the nation when the left Wing authoritarians gets purged..
Staffed by some of the most experienced prosecutors in the Department, my Office operated under the same Department policies and procedures that guide all federal prosecutors. The regulations under which I was appointed required that we do so, see 28 C.F.R. § 600.7(a), and our work benefited from those processes. The Department has long recognized that proceeding with "uniformity of policy ... is necessary to the prestige of federal law." Robert H. Jackson, "The Federal Prosecutor" (April 1, 1940). As a result, throughout our work we regularly consulted the Justice Manual, the Department's publicly available guidebook on policies and procedures, and adhered to its requirements.

Our work rested upon the fundamental value of our democracy that we exist as "a government of laws, and not of men." John Adams, Novanglus, No. VII at 84 (Mar. 6, 1775). In making decisions as Special Counsel, I considered as a first principle whether our actions would contribute to upholding the rule of law, and acted accordingly. Our committed adherence to the rule of law is why we not only followed Department policies and procedures, but strictly observed legal requirements and dutifully respected the judicial decisions and precedents our prosecutions prompted. That is also why, in my decision-making, I heeded the imperative that "[n]o man in this country is so high that he is above the law," United States v. Lee, I 06 U.S. 196,220 (1882).

Smith and his team followed the letter of the law in performing their assigned task. What they found during their investigation compelled them to convene a grand jury, the members of which voted to indict trump based on the overwhelming evidence.

trump's lawfare ensued, and the cases were postponed until they became moot after the election. IOW, trump's strategy of avoiding having to stand trial worked. No amount of spin from trumples alters those fundamental facts.

Well, that was an easily proven lie.

In practical terms, agents who participated in the attempt to identify the members of trump's mob who beat policemen like Officer Fanone on J6 will be fired. Just one of a number of impeachable offenses Baby Donald has committed in less than two weeks.

But impeachment is gone now as a check on Dotard's abuses of power and illegal acts. The cowed votes of Senate Repubs in the first two impeachments proved that. Just as he does not fear impeachment, he does not fear the consequences of illegal acts once he leaves office. His SC has seen to that.

There is currently only one potential check on his power. Namely, Repubs doing the right thing by standing up and saying "enough is enough, these autocratic acts of retribution are anti-American and must stop." IOW, the republic is screwed.
Get real Berg. Like it or not, the man could literally, personally shoot you on 5th Avenue, out the window of his bulletproof limo, and not be impeached.

STEALING ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES

I GUARANTEE THAT THE NEXT TIME AROUND IT WILL BE FAR WORSE

Having grown up in the shadow of WWII, I spent 10 years reading the history of the 20th Century wondering how a people as decent and smart as the Germans, could have ever allowed Hitler to happen. The best book I read which explained it was "Stones in the River

Watching the Republican Convention participants demanding MASS DEPORTATIONS NOW, and my blood ran cold. The events of the past week are the death knell of your democracy.

The "mass deportations" are only needed because the Far Left decided to have an open door for years, just to get revenge on the millions of little Trumpsters. for throwing them out.

trump hated being subjected to accountability for his crimes. The only lawfare that has transpired was trump's endless efforts at delaying the trials for his crimes so they couldn't take place before the election. He lost the ones that did take place.
Let's get all of those Progs subjected to the same accountability.
