Or we can move backward to a time before segregation, to a time Jews were restricted from many country clubs, to a time it was OK to beat up gays, and to a time where women's place was in the kitchen, bare-foot and pregnant.

As bad as that sounds, it’s better than what we have now.

As for me personally, I would rather be kept out of a country club - we Jews built our own, just as nice - and not have to hear foreigners chanting “Death to Jews!,” worry that my nephew will be put in the hospital for wearing a Jewish star on a liberal campus, or have an Islamist mayor refuse to condemn calls for worldwide violence against Jews.
