The move by Gettr comes after white nationalist Nick Fuentes, who uses the term to refer to his supporters, was banned from their website.

After banning white nationalist figure Nick Fuentes from their platform, GETTR has blocked the term "groyper" from its website. A spokesperson said on Tuesday that the commentator was banned because he "violated GETTR's clearly defined terms of use."

"GETTR has banned use of the word 'groyper' lol," wrote Fuentes on the chatting app Telegram. "LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Other users have begun trying to circumvent the ban in support of Fuentes. Arizona Rep. Wendy Rogers wrote "Grooooyper" on her Gettr profile -- The [Groyper] movement was made to encourage supporters of former President Donald Trump and other right-leaning individuals to adopt white nationalist ideologies."

How is a simple word like "groyper" something that a social media platform like Gettr needs to have banned?? People left Twitter because of fascist authoritarian censorship -- Gettr was supposed to be the defender of free speech and justice; yet not only did they ban a word, but they banned arguably the most important Conservative thinker of our generation....which leads me to believe that Gettr is nothing more than a CIA controlled media platform; created for the purposes of spying on conservative patriots....Gettr couldn't even stop liberals from uploading childporn and pro-pedo memes on its platform -- but they can ban conservative patriots advocating for freedom?
