Historians take the flood story seriously; thus Shem, Ham, and Japheth are still considered the forebearers of all ethnicities and are studied as such.
Are representations of y haploids from the eponymous patriarchs supposed to represent a fact for generalization about contemporary y haploids , or possibly to include x haploids as well , or about common clad of macrohaploidgroup ?

There are five basic types of melanin: eumelanin, pheomelanin, neuromelanin, allomelanin and pyomelanin.[2]

Eumelanin (lit. 'true melanin') has two forms linked to 5,6-dihydroxyindole (DHI) and 5,6-dihydroxyindole-2-carboxylic acid (DHICA). DHI-derived eumelanin is dark brown or black and insoluble, and DHICA -derived eumelanin which is lighter and soluble in alkali. Analysis of highly pigmented (Fitzpatrick type V and VI) skin finds that DHI-eumelanin comprises the largest portion, approximately 60–70%, followed by DHICA-eumelanin at 25–35%, and pheomelanin only 2–8%. Notably, while an enrichment of DHI-eumelanin occurs in during sun tanning, it is accompanied by a decrease in DHICA-eumelanin and pheomelanin.[11] A small amount of black eumelanin in the absence of other pigments causes grey hair. A small amount of eumelanin in the absence of other pigments causes blond hair.[12] Eumelanin is present in the skin and hair, etc.

Pheomelanins (or phaeomelanins, from Greek φαιός phaios, "grey") impart a range of yellowish to reddish colors.[13] Pheomelanins are particularly concentrated in the lips, nipples, glans of the penis, and vagina.[14] When a small amount of eumelanin in hair (which would otherwise cause blond hair) is mixed with pheomelanin, the result is orange hair, which is typically called "red" or "ginger" hair.

Neuromelanin (NM) is an insoluble polymer pigment produced in specific populations of catecholaminergic neurons in the brain. Humans have the largest amount of NM, which is present in lesser amounts in other primates, and totally absent in many other species.[20]

Up until the 1960s, melanin was classified into eumelanin and pheomelanin. However, in 1955, a melanin associated with nerve cells was discovered, neuromelanin. In 1972 a water-soluble form, pyomelanin, was discovered. In 1976, allomelanin, the fifth form of the melanins, was found in nature.[2]

Conclusion?

I would hope most folks wouldn't think that. Unfortunately, this day in age, a lot of people get the majority of their information from social media, general media and the internet.

Western Civilization was founded by Christianity and Christian principles. It is (quite literally) the foundation of our entire culture - whether people realize it or not.

Whether you're Religiously Christian or not is irrelevant - almost everything around your life was based on Christian principles/culture at some point- from our laws, ethics, morals, mannerisms, clothing we wear, the food we eat, how we eat, where we eat, when we eat, education systems, human rights, civil rights, freedoms, and so forth - (almost) all based from Christian principles/culture.

So if someone relates Christianity to being a "WASP" - they might want to go take a look in the mirror to see if that's what a "WASP" looks like.

That said - over the past 50 years or so - far right evangelical Christian groups have become the "face" of Christianity to many - although they make up less than 10% of the nations Christians.

It is the equivalent of thinking that everyone on the left is a radical antifa member and everyone on the right is part of a far right militia/hate group.
the last but one paragraph says it clearly

when I read some texts, i get that feeling.

what do you think?

That is an excellent question. Near death experiencer Kevin L Zadai claims to have met with Messiah Yeshua - Jesus for forty five minutes or so. Dr. Zadai states that Messiah Yeshua - Jesus was very dark, and appeared to be somebody from the Middle East or India, he was NOT at all like the WASP sort of person who was chosen to be a model for various artists during the Dark Ages.

Jesus was "sent only" to the "lost sheep of the house of Israel".

The "house of Israel" were the descendants of the 10-tribed northern "Kingdom of Israel".

The poorest of these remained in Samaria after the Assyrian captivity. It is to those Jesus ministered personally.

He also sent the disciples to them. It is unclear how far they travelled before they were martyred but their namesakes were first primarily found among the churches of northwest Europe.

God had "driven" the Israelites "to the north country". They were called the "Norse", or the "Northmen".

Protestant Christianity blossomed there after the Reformation and the collapse of the authority of the Roman Church in those nations.

Revelation 12 describes a time in the wilderness for the church, which when calculated prophetically from the time of Constantine to the time of the Reformation suggests when the church would come out of hiding free from the persecution of Roman church.

That those who were finally freed and organized the Protestant movement were Anglo-Saxons pretty much says it all.

where does Martin Luther and Germany come in?

WASP in and of itself is simply a descriptive term but has been used pejoratively by racist, anti-Christian types so much it is generally seen as derogatory or negatively judgmental now.

I tend to feel negatively toward those who use the term to describe people now.

and it is wrong, of course!

where does Martin Luther and Germany come in?
Luther got the ball rolling by challenging Rome's authority and practices. Germany was the center of the Roman church in Europe, but the people were mostly descendants of the "lost sheep" (see etymology of "German"). The Reformation divided them pretty evenly, some clinging to papal authority, others breaking away. Other European peoples quickly adopted the new religious beliefs and freedom.

The printing and widespread availability of the Bible had a profound effect not only on the Reformation but also spurred the expansion of literacy as people wanted to be able to read the scriptures for themselves. In fact, it formed the basis of public education for centuries. The effect of widespread literacy on the advancement of western civilization cannot be overstated.

Well said.

Since Catholics are christians, that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense
Most Catholics are indeed Christians; they just need some adjustments in their beliefs.

I’ve always assumed the ‘AS’ in WASP stood for ‘affluent’ and ‘suburban’

Didn’t realize it was Anglo-Saxon
