I still don’t see why this poll is of any interest one way or the other.

Maybe Zebra would be good enough to explain what it matters?

There is a deep Christian connection to the Anglo-Saxons (sons of Isaac). It was to them that Jesus was "sent only".
"The lost sheep of Israel" included the Jews. He was talking spiritually, not physically

the Saxons were not Jews
You don't know enough to participate in my conversation with woodnutz. They were part of the Lost Tribes. There are 12 tribes of Israel. The Jews are only one -- Judah

The "lost sheep of the house of Israel". He went to the Jews first, but he was sent to the descendants of the northern tribes. Of course there were some Jewish converts, but he left "Jewry" and started preaching the kingdom message in "Galilee of the Gentiles". He sent the disciples to them as well.

He never went to the Lost Tribes. He lived and died in Judah

I do think that Azerbaijan was one of the original homelands of the Israelis. But the connection with Saxony is too far-fetched.

The Jews are Aryans and originated in the Caucasus Mountains, where Noah landed. Then they went south to Azerbaijan and Sumeria.

Theists Need to Make Up Enemies

The Jews were already saved, for all time. Jesus was sent by Jehovah to the Gentiles.

The diaspora of the Jews and that of the Israelites is quite different, although in recent centuries the Jews have moved into the Israelite countries, for safety and profit. Now we're one big happy family. :2up:
