Iranians, Muslims for that matter, tend to see the west as stupid weaklings, while they treat us with respect.
They simply buy themselves time to further their own agendas, which then years later leak out.
"Iran ready to build a nuclear bomb within weeks" is one of those agendas.

It means they have the production capacity *and* the ballistic missile capability by now to wipe Israel off the map, and could very well be producing and stockpiling nukes and regional ballistic missiles as we speak, while negotations revolve around entirely different "matters of importance".

I urge the Democrats not to underestimate the Iranian capacity for sneaky behavior in politics.
I urge the Republicans not to try to choke the life out of the Iranians by curtailing the amount of grain and wheat they get from Ukraine.

A middle ground has to be found here, where the Iranians get treated with realistic respect (achieved by means of proper intelligence gathering -maybe by the Israelis who could do something else than look for the next lethal hit to make in Iranian military and government circles-) but also a good measure of assertiveness.
And i'd want none of that showing up in the mass media news of either side. These aspects of the negotiations had best be kept secret.
What we want is the good-news headlines like 'Iran likely to reduce it's centrifuge capacity and nuclear material stockpile in exchange for this and that'.

And we'd also need to address their hold over the rulers of Yemen, get them to see that their secret hatred against Saudi Arabia with visible hatred through their proxy forces in Yemen will get them nowhere in the end. Oil, Batteries, Tourism, those are the industries that are legitimate ways to join the ranks of the nations that get to prolong their methods of leadership (and you'd better tell them this with somewhat of a smile on your face), and nations that play the regional-dictatorship games, they get shoved into the wastebin of failed government forms (eventually).

America should seriously consider permanently docking a carrier fleet and some submarines in a new seaport built with American and EU money on the western side of Greece.

Muslims already have nukes. Pakistan is a nuclear power with about 300 nukes. Israel has about the same amount of nukes. If the Muslims wanted to nuke Israel, they would've done it already, a long time ago. The Iranians may be "sneaky", as you assert, but they're not stupid. They know that if they nuke Israel, they will get nuked themselves by both Israel and the US (Israel has submarines armed with nukes). They want nuclear power and all of the benefits that come with it. They can even generate liquid fuel with a nuclear power plant. That's why they want it, not to create nuclear bombs, but even if they managed to build several nukes, that doesn't mean they're going to use them. The Iranians would be developing nuclear weapons as a deterrent against the United States, not as an offensive weapon to nuke other countries. They want to deter the US from invading them, as Trump threatened on more than one occasion. North Korea also has nukes for the same reason. It's for defense, not offense.

If you try to block the Russian Black Sea fleet, obstructing its access to the Mediterranean or any other ocean, that would start WW3. That would violate international law / maritime law and would trigger a war with Russia, a nuclear power with 6000 nukes.

That's the last thing Israel should do. The Iranian "rag heads" as you called them aren't as dumb as you think they are. They're not going to nuke Israel and destroy themselves. They would have the nukes as a deterrent against a US invasion. As you just admitted, they become "untouchable", just like North Korea. Any nation that has nukes pretty much avoids any serious military action from the US. It's much less likely to get invaded.
