Oct. 1 (Bloomberg) -- Iran agreed to allow international inspectors to visit its new nuclear fuel plant within the next two weeks and will meet with negotiators for the U.S. and other leading United Nations powers later this month, European Union Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana said.

Iran said it will allow inspectors into a recently revealed uranium enrichment plant and the UN powers agreed to look into ways to provide Iran with fuel for a nuclear energy plant.

“Today was only a start,” Solana, the point man for the U.S. and five other powers involved in the Geneva talks, said at a news conference. “We will now need to see progress on practical steps.”

Odd, Iran already has plenty of options on the table other than doing their own enrichment. They've had those options for years.

We'll see, but it has the same bullshit stench that has been typical over the years. Now, we'll see if Iran allows for the other outstanding IAEA demands, too.

Yes, the Iranians can talk themselves blue while they develop a bomb. Does anyone here not understand that we are being played for suckers in this game? Does anyone think the Iranians are really interested in negotiating away their nuclear capability, or that they are developing nuclear programs to generate electricity?

The Iranians have learned this game from the Norks. Remember Carter's trip there? Remember all the agreements followed by sabre rattling followed by more agreements? All of that culminated with N.Korea exploding a nuclear bomb. Iran is following the same path.
It is only the insanity ofthe Obamites that makes them think Obama is somehow charming Iran.
