In order to promote their patented drugs and vaccines against flu, pharmaceutical companies influenced scientists and official agencies, responsible for public health standards to alarm governments worldwide and make them squander tight health resources for inefficient vaccine strategies and needlessly expose millions of healthy people to the risk of an unknown amount of side-effects of insufficiently tested vaccines.

The "birds-flu"-campaign (2005/06) combined with the "swine-flu"-campaign seem to have caused a great deal of damage not only to some vaccinated patients and to public health-budgets, but to the credibility and accountability of important international health-agencies.

The Council of Europe and its member-states should ask for immediate investigations and consequences on their national levels as well as on the international level.
The definition of an alarming pandemic must not be under the influence of drug-sellers.

When in April 2009 some hundred normal influenza cases in Mexico City were rashly announced to be the beginning of a threatening new pandemic, there was little scientific evidence for this judgement. Nevertheless a large and immediate word-wide agenda setting process started and was eagerly spread by alarmist media and formally legitimized by pandemic-defining WHO, the agency, which is our global epidemiological watchdog and task-force.

Besides this, vaccination programs against influenza are already established in most of the exposed countries as an annual routine. They are regularly taking into account all expected varieties of flu-viruses to bundle their antigen fragments in a well-adjusted polyvalent vaccine.

But around the Mexican outbreak, WHO in cooperation with some big pharmaceutical companies and their scientists re-defined pandemics and lowered the alarm-threshold. Those new standards forced politicians in most states to react immediately and sign marketing commitments for additional and new vaccines against "swine-flu" and spend billions of dollars to catch up with the alarming scenario that Big Pharma, media and WHO were spreading.

From the beginning in April 2009 it was clear, that a newly combined flu-virus was on its way - as many flu-virus-variations have been almost every year before. From the first cases in Mexico it was also evident, that this new subtype was doing less harm to infected humans than others in former years. Nevertheless the "swine-flu-campaign" was increasingly threatening people, filling television programs, newspapers, health-agendas, ambulances and hospitals.

Never before the search for traces of a virus was carried out so broadly and intensively. Besides, many cases of death, that happened to coincide with seropositive H1N1 lab-findings, were simply attributed to "swine-flu" and used to foster fear.

Additionally it has been proven, that at least one third of the population older than 60 had already positive test results because of flu contacts in the second half of the last century. In contrast to this "agenda setting process" it has to be stated, that the annual worldwide spreading ("pandemic") of 2009- influenza was a relief for global health, compared with the suffering, influenza waves used to originate most of the years before.

The Australian flu-season, which has already passed by with the Australian winter, has even given evidence, that the infection with "swine-flu" brings some protection against other, more dangerous virus-types. Nevertheless we have to observe, that a faked "swine-flu"- pandemic is still used for marketing risky vaccines.

The victims among millions of needlessly vaccinated people must be protected by their states and independent scientific clarification should provide evidence and transparency for national and -if necessary- European courts.

I see this isn't attracting a great deal of interest yet, but I'm bumping it up in hopes that it will. While I don't know anything about the website you linked, they are touching on a subject that I think a lot of us are thinking about. And I think a strong suspicion is growing that these pandemics, much like some other 'world wide' theories are either an unethical method of enriching certain entities - or - are one more cog in the works to empower world governments to exercise more control in all our lives.

It may not be anything at all. But it never hurts to keep our antennas up. As soon as we become apathetic about defending our freedoms, we will lose them.

Guess dat means one out of every five Muslims got swine DNA in `em now...

Swine flu infected 'fifth of people'
25 January 2013 - At least 20% of people, including half of schoolchildren, were infected with swine flu during the first year of the pandemic in 2009, according to data from 19 countries.
It is thought the virus killed 200,000 people around the world. A World Health Organization-led study looked for evidence of the body's immune system fighting the virus. It showed large numbers of people had been infected, although not all would have developed full-blown flu. The H1N1 virus first appeared in Mexico in 2009 and rapidly spread around the world.

Anti-bodies

An international group of researchers looked at more than 90,000 blood samples before and during the pandemic in countries including India, Australia and the UK. They looked for antibodies which are produced when the body is infected with H1N1. By comparing the figures before and during the pandemic, the researchers can determine how many people were infected as the virus spread around the world. Approximately 24% of people had been infected overall, but half of school-age children showed signs of infection.

One of the researchers, Dr Maria Van Kerkhove from Imperial College London, said fewer than two in every 10,000 people infected died during the pandemic. "However, those that did die are much younger than in seasonal flu so the years of life lost will be much more," she told the BBC. "The figures drive home how incredibly infectious the virus is," she said. Many older people, who typically die during outbreaks of flu, were protected as they had been exposed to the virus decades before.

Prof John Oxford, a virology expert at Queen Mary, University of London, said the figures "make sense". "It was the busiest virus on the block and it displaced other influenza viruses - it was the only virus in town." He said a similar pattern would be expected in other countries which were not analysed in the study.

Deadly Flu Spreading Across US...
Swine Flu Spreading In South-Central US, At Least Five Dead In Texas
December 28, 2013 ~ H1N1 or “swine” flu is spreading across the south-central United States, with at least five people dying from the virus in Texas. Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi have also reported increased levels of flu activity.
Dr. Michael Young, a medical officer with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s influenza division, said it is the same strain that triggered a pandemic in 2009. Unlike other types of flu, H1N1 tends to strike younger adults harder than older adults. “This year, because it’s an H1N1 season so far, we are seeing more infections in younger adults,” Young said. “And some of these folks have underlying conditions that put them at risk for hospitalization or death. This may be surprising to some folks, because they forget the population that H1N1 hits.”

The flu vaccine protects again swine flu, and with activity peaking in January and February, Young advises those who haven’t been vaccinated yet to get a flu shot. Last year, only 45 percent of Americans got the flu shot, but the CDC recommends that everyone from six months of age and older be vaccinated.

In addition to getting vaccinated, Young recommends frequent hand washing and covering your mouth when you cough to prevent getting or spreading the flu. He also said it is unlikely that the H1N1 flu will reach a pandemic level like it did four years ago. In 2009, there were 17,855 cases of infection and 45 deaths due to swine flu.

“When things are quiet, people tend to let their guard down,” Dr. Christopher Perkins, medical director for the Dallas County Health and Human Services, said. “But when there are a lot of bells and whistles going on, a lot of flu cases, and people hospitalized, actually some succumbing to death, then that gets a lot of attention. And we get overwhelmed with people seeking out the vaccine.”
