Inspectors General Refuse Trumps Illegal Firing Order

Welcome, IGs, to the Resistance!

Convicted felon attempts to cover up more crimes.

He should keep in mind that the immunity ruling from SCOTUS only covers official acts relating to his duties of the office. It does not cover any crimes not part of those official duties.

If you want to have any kind of credibility you at least need to acknowledge firing 17 IG's without cause is not routine as trump claims. It is, in fact, against the law written to prevent these apolitical inspectors for being fired without justification.
.

Whether or not you particularly like or approve of the cause is not required.
Whether or not the cause is a violation of the law is not dependent on your determination either.

You opinion is not fact ... No one has appointed you the arbiter of the matter.
You can keep saying it ... But that still won't ever make it true ...

LOL, pathetic! If you are not able to do the job, then you get fired! Have you got a job? If you do not perform under the rules, you will get fired too!

It's unconstitutional, as it dictates how the executive performs their duties.

The Senate gets to approve cabinet posts, that's it.
The executive duties are to execute the laws written by Congress.

The mind reels.

Replacing IGs with loyalists is a bad omen.
Some of those positions will be eliminated others will be replaced with confident people. "Loyalist" yeah loyal to the Constitution...youre an idiot

The laws passed by congress cannot infringe on the constitutional powers of the President.

This will come to a court fight, and the people fighting for the law will lose.

Trump prefers loyalty to himself, not the constitution.

IGs aren’t in the constitution. It’s an office created by Congress. They make the rules.

They are still part of the executive branch, and all power in the executive branch is vested in the President only.

Putting requirements on positions like this is unconstitutional, as it lets the legislature dictate how the President performs his constitutional duties, which it does not have the power to do in the Constitution.

You're full of crap..... Loyalist in his cabinet of course.. inspector generals aren't doing their job why would you assume that these government bureaucrats are doing their job perfectly?... Whatever happened with the liberals who distrusted the federal government?.. problem is your ravaged with TDS and can't think clearly

Congress writes the laws that the executive has to follow. It’s a power given to the executive by the legislature, not the constitution.

We don’t trust Trump. He’s given us ample reason for it.

Except the legislation created it under the Department of Health and Human Services.
The Department of Health and Human Services falls under the authority of the Executive Branch and not the Legislative Branch.

Congress can't write laws on how the President executes the laws, just the laws he can execute.

Only the Constitution gives powers to the various branches, they can't write laws to change that.

There is government waste and fraud. The solution is not to do away with those uncovering the waste and fraud as you seem to be advocating.
Time for You'reUp! to Pay for Its Bearanoia

Obsolete NYETO has cost us $22 trillion over the years, including $800 billion in 2023.

Wow. This is total gibberish.

That’s the same fucking thing. Congress tells the president how he can execute the laws by writing the laws.

Too bad on your part if you can't comprehend it.

The purpose of an IG is written into law, where the law oversteps its bounds is saying congress has to be notified if Trump wants to replace said IG's.

Yeah ... The President has to follow the Constitution.
That doesn't mean he has to do what Congress wants ... Constitutionally, the President is the part of the checks and balances.

You do understand the Legislative Branch writes laws ... And the Executive Branch has the power to execute those laws ...
Especially in regard to those that fall under the domain of the Executive Branch.
That's also why any Enforcement Authority ... Outside of the Supreme Court ... Also falls under the Executive Branch ...

Congress can try to Impeach the President for any violation.
Good Luck ... :auiqs.jpg:
