Indianapolis - On a chilly fall morning, tens of thousands of Hoosiers wrapped themselves in the hope that for the first time in more than 40 years, a Democrat could win in Indiana and the first time in history an African-American could be president. Some 36,000 supporters packed the American Legion Mall to hear Sen. Barack Obama speak Thursday morning.

Plus, I saw the crowd on the afternoon news, they were flowing onto the streets.
