inciting violence

So social media is exploding about trump inciting violence against the media. Naturally no one can say what he actually said to do this.

Any idea what they are going crazy over?

It is probably about this short vid.

I agree with your statement except for the first part about Trump not being the problem. His is one of biggest purveyors of fake news.

Yeah sure... "Hands up don't shoot", "What do we want dead cops when do we want it now", "He could have been my son", etc,...

Yep! No problem there.

What are you talking about? Want to try again to make a coherent arguement in relation to the discussion?

I'm being completely coherent. You wish to discuss the creation of fake news that's inflammatory.

Have you been living under a rock for the last eight or nine years?

I'm saying that our President plays a large role in the discourse of our country. He is in essence waging war against the news media and acting like a schoolyard bully. He is calling everything fake news while spreading fake news himself. He is instigating petty squabbles with news anchors instead of focusing on the important stuff. It is embarrassing and irresponsible. I'd think if you support his agenda you'd condemn this behavior. It only serves his ego

What was embarrassing and irresponsible was the last presidency inciting violence against the people who attempt to uphold the laws of this nation with his rhetoric and the support of the progressive news media.

Ok, so what does that have to do with this discussion?. If you're upset about destructive rhetoric from our leadership then I'd think you'd be condemning the shit coming from The Trump admin, not defending it by trying to deflect to Obama

Everything. With luck most news medias will now be forced to be responsible for their journalism or end up being considered nothing more than a supermarket tabloid or a very badly made fake reality show.

Ever since January 20, the media has been bathing in dreams of assassination of the president. They have pretended in plays, in speeches, in talks and marches. Democrats have wanted to burn the white house down, mused about actors assassinating the president. Insulted, castigated, denigrated, mocked and made every attempt to ruin the president, his wife, his family and tried their level best to attach the label of autism to his 11 year old son, saying he deserved it because he's the president's son.

The media deserves everything it gets.. They had a six month free ride during which time they were allowed the freedom to verbally assassinate the man they wanted so badly to physically assassinate without being challenged. Their six months is up. It's time for a little push back. They can howl like the pack of wounded wolves they are.

I saw the picture of Cathy Griffin holding a faux severed head of Trump, or Colbert's "cock holster" remark. They are entertainers, yes. I also remember how NBC national news anchor man (Lester Holt) came on the air, saying "YET ANOTHER OUTRAGE" about a police shooting, and many others doing the same, and we get riots. I hope the liberal media is proud of them selves, stirring up racial tensions when we needed restraint and calm. Good job, guys.

Deflect when it was Obama that was fanning the flames of racism and anti-cop rhetoric? That's you doing the deflecting.

Any idea what they are going crazy over?

CNN has accused Donald Trump of “encouraging violence against reporters” after the president tweeted a video of himself at a pro wrestling event, body-slamming to the floor a man with a CNN logo for a head. The Republican senator Ben Sasse said Trump was “trying to weaponize distrust” in his attacks on the media

Do you think any of this would have happened if CNN had any honesty and integrity? You bitches don't like getting smacked back do you?
They just fired 3 reporters for not properly sourcing a story per their procedures. Was that not a display of honesty and integrity towards reporting the truth?

Have you ever looked at the fact checks on each of the major news networks? CNN ranks highest
Then the others must be out and out liars.
By the way, who does the "fact" checking?
Politifact is the only one I've seen during a quick search but I'm sure there are others
PunditFact checks in on the cable news channels

I hear a lot of talk about "fake news" that isn't really fake news. It's crying wolf. For example, interviewing political pundits who give critical opinions about Trump is not fake news. It can be annoying but it isn't news... it's drama
Most news outlet are presenting editorials as fact.

If you really think that Trumps actions are promoting a more honest and objective press then you are delusional. His antics are eco driven and destructive towards the virtues you appear to be promoting.

Most news outlet are presenting editorials as fact.
Most news outlets are heavy on editorials and pundit interviews which is annoy for those looking for hard news. Trump is calling this fake news which is not an accurate statement.

CNN for example just retracted a story and fired 3 reporters for not following sourcing guidelines in a story they published. Fox retracted a Seth Rich story that was being pushed by hannity and... hmm, don't think they provided an explaination or consequences to those who reported it. What do you think about that?

Opinion disguised as fact is fake fact.

In court, presenting opinion as fact in court is objectionable.
You must have a very low threshold for news outlets.

Wait so you're saying that he has a secret tweeter?! Wow that's deep man. You are a new kind of crazy. Even if your theory is true, Trump owns them, doesn't deny them, backs them up.

Talk about Obama all you want but what's your point? Do Obamas inflammatory actions make Trumps ok?
They were way worse. It's called perspective. Funny coming from the perpetual "bbbbuuutttt Bush..." crowd. Now lefties don't want to discuss former presidents.
Discuss obama all you want... you think he was an asshole and worse then Trump... fine. Good. Now if we can deal with our current situation that would be great
