I had a distant relative fight as a General on the Union side in the Civil war no direct family fought in ww1 or ww2 to young for first to light of weight for 2nd My dad was in during the end of Korea but didnt go and he fought in Vietnam.

Revolutionary War, Civil War, WW1, WW2, and a husband in Vietnam.

The great grandfather who fought in the Civil War was a drum major who drummed the orders down the line which made him a special target. He survived being shot in the side but then died from influenza in 1918.

my family tree is from Boston on the American side lots of them my last name is pretty popular in that area. So probably had family in revolutionary war and civil war.
