If so thats just a benchmark in the decline of reason and common sense in AmericaYes reason prevails in America. The majority supports same sex marriage
I don't think Japan gives two shits about a US district court ruling.Equality marches on! The last of the G-7 nations to reccognise same sex marriage. There is no turning back. It is "normalized"
Japan's Same-Sex Marriage Ban Ruled Unconstitutional By District Court : NPR
It is not same sex marriage any more. It is just marriage.
Sorry to see that you are so upset and threatened by how others live and love. Such angst is not healthy. Perhapps you should consider what is going on in your personal life that causes you to be so hateful and regressive. If so thats just a benchmark in the decline of reason and common sense in America
but your claim is based on nothing but lying lib polls
I’m more sorry that you want to pervert the minds of small children in the name of toleranceSorry to see that you are so upset and threatened by how others live and love. Such angst is not healthy. You had better watch that shit about children!I’m more sorry that you want to pervert the minds of small children in the name of tolerance
It was a Japaneese Court, DummyI don't think Japan gives two shits about a US district court ruling.

We don't have to convince anyone about bigots being freaks. People like you do it for us.Because the hedonists have been working very hard to convince normal people who dont approve of hay martiage tjat they are the freaks
Let me see if I'm getting this right. You admire anchient Japan for being tollerant of gays, but you think that they should be in the closet and not allwed to marry in modern day America? Seriously1. I have long admired Japan for what I have perceived as their policy on gay relations.
2. First, in ancient Japan, gay relations were often tolerated.
5. And it seems that gays for their part stayed in the closet.
See post 31 Your opinion is not woth a hill of beans. Gays can marry eachother and that is not about to change. Just last year, after Justice Kennedy retired and Ginsburg died, a case was brought to SCOTUS trying to overturn Obergefell. The court declined to even hear it. It's over8. In my opinion, the word "marriage" should be left for straights, to whom it means so much.
It does not "mean so much" to gay people? They fought long and hard for the right to marry. I think that shows that it means alot to them. Why do you think that gay people are so different from straight people? Do you give much thought to what you write?8. In my opinion, the word "marriage" should be left for straights, to whom it means so much.

So what ? There are straight people who don't believe in straight marriageA few gay activists have, in fact, criticized gay marriage.
They are not trying to copy anything. As I said, gays and straights are fundamentally alike in what they want and who they are as peopleThose activists say that gay people should stop trying to copy the ways of straight people.
You keep bringing this thing up about gay people staying in the closet. Let me see if I inderstand you correctly.I personally believe (as I tried to explain in my first post) that everyone is happier when (a) society stops persecuting gay people, (b) when gay people stay in the closet, (c) gay people refrain from copying straight people's culture, and (d) one's sexuality is a non-issue in society.
In response to your last question, I interpret "thank" in two ways: (a) I agree with your opinion or (b) I -- as a courteous person -- thank you for your no doubt heartfelt response. You keep bringing this thing up about gay people staying in the closet. Let me see if I inderstand you correctly.
Currently, staright people can:
Be seen in public holding hand and being affectionate with their spouse/ partner
Post photos of their partner- including wedding photos on social media
Not worry about being fired from a job or otherwise be discriminated against because of their sexuality
Bring their partner home to meet their family
Bring their partner to the office picknick or holiday party
Have a picture of their partner on their desk at work
In general, be open and honest about who they are. They can be themselves-be genuine - without worrying that something will slip and give them away
They can do all of that and more without fear of reprisals, or ridicule . You with me so far?
Gay people can also do many of those things without fear, but not always and not every where .

When you say "gays should stay in the closet" what comes to mind is that they should not be allowed to do any of those things. And what is the alternative? Going back to pre Stonewall days when gay relations were religated to the bath house ( do they even still have them anymore?) and dark XXX porn theaters? The result would be to deprive them of the opportunity to have an open and stable relationship. Then of course you would complain that they are permiscuous and spread disease ! You know that is what would happen.
THINK about what the fuck you are saying! Gay people should not have to be in the closet not to be persecuted .And why the hell do you keep thanking me?
I am going to assume that it is "b"In response to your last question, I interpret "thank" in two ways: (a) I agree with your opinion or (b) I -- as a courteous person -- thank you for your no doubt heartfelt response.
Have a nice day!
