At the Attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, the agents on site were members of the United States Secret Service assigned to protect Donald Trump.
Here’s the key point:
So the agents present were U.S. Secret Service personnel fulfilling their duty, not representatives of either political campaign.
- The Secret Service is not political. Agents are career federal law enforcement officers, not “Trump people” or “Biden people.”
- Their job is to protect individuals designated under federal law (current and former presidents, major candidates, etc.), regardless of party.
- At that time, Trump was a former president and major presidential candidate, so he had a full protective detail assigned by the agency.
Where's who was head of the Secret Service then now?

It was job failure that day.
Yeah! Because crying about Orange Man Bad and getting brunch catered in during impeachment party time is better than doing work for their constituents. It depends a lot on who wins the House of Reps in November. Regardless of who wins the Senate, if the Dems take the House then they will impeach Trump, maybe twice. But it'll be merely political grandstanding, cuz the Senate will not vote to remove him from office unless maybe he does something so heinous that the GOP has no choice but to kick him out. But so far, not even close.
